  • LeechTunes got it right!!

When I'm driving, this is my music player. Usually also when I'm not driving. It has a beautiful interface that can use your album art as a blurred background... But it's my favorite because I'm usually not looking at it.

Once you get used to gestures, you can play artist, play album, shuffle all, adjust volume, etc. all with swipes and taps. There's no excuse not to know the gestures because you get to choose what gestures do what (not while driving).

I've tried most of the others. They don't compare. This is seriously on my list of must-have apps!

  • Finally!

This is the gesture based music player I've been waiting for. I want gesture capability when I drive and that means easy responsive gestures(I don't need the lyrics when driving or to tweet what I'm listening to-ever)

This is the app for the car. Just trust me. You won't be disappointed. And customizable too! Make any gesture rule you want so yes, if you think anyone on Facebook cares what song your listening to then by all means make that the default swipe in any direction.

    I love this thing.

  • Could be better

Why not support for showing the lyrics of the song playing. There seems to be a lot of screen real state wasted with some default skins.

Also, why not being able to modify the actual playlist (as if it done via the official Music app)? It's annoying having to switch back and forth to modify playlists so iCloud can get it and sync it to all devices.

  • Absolutely the best.

Quite simply, get Leech Tunes guys, it works in every way so much better than the stock Music app - works in the car really well once you've learned the easy-to-use gestures.

You'd be crazy not to get this - then you'll get it :)
  • Better than the current music app

Love the app. The design and looks in this app is much better than the current music app because you can go to artist and album like the iOS 6 music app which I miss a lot more. If your looking for a music app that is well organize, this is the one. The only missing thing in this app is viewing the lyrics if your song was added with lyrics. Anyways fantastic app!

Honorable mention apps like this: Music2Go & SoundFocus

  • The Best Gesture Control Music Player

After getting into a minor fender bender, I decided I should get a music player that would allow me to keep my eyes on the road. This is simply the best gesture control music player. I've tried and paid for several. It syncs very well with the native music and podcasts player. The interface is beautiful, as well.

    iOS 8 broke album artwork.

  • Great app

This is the best player for iTunes with large text good with your hi fi in a large room this is the only I could find that has text size from 10 to 36.
  • A great music player

I love using LeechTunes. With the latest version I have not experienced any bugs and everything runs smooth. However, song title, artist, and album need to be able to loop/scroll. I don't like seeing the song title cut off or making it a super small font size to fit it all. This alone would boost my review to 5 stars. Please, please, please incorporate this feature!

  • Neat design, flawed shuffle

The app looks great visually and the tap gestures are great. Unfortunately despite me having shuffle on, there are HUGE gaps between songs. Sometimes I even have to go in to tap it to play. I'm using my ITunes Match library. If you fix that, I'd use it a ton.
  • Great for driving

I use this for listening to audio books while driving. I never look from the road as the hand gestures makes it very easy to rewind or skip ahead.

I do wish the total time remaining could be shown in hours and minutes as instead of minutes.

For a great podcatcher app that has the same skip technology, check out "Downcast".
