  • LOUSY FOR COMETS

I paid $9.95 for the comet upgrade, and the last 2 AMAZING comets were not in it!!! also bought The meteor showers upgrade and there are numerous minor meteor showers that aren’t included also. I can look in the newspaper for the Perseids. I was hoping this would go a little deeper, you know? . And the upgrade packs are 10 bucks apiece!
SOOO disappointed!!!! The manual says they’re a handful of comets included (Hayley’s, etc.), and newer significant ones will be added as they appear. Wrong. Didn’t happen. What did I pay for? Can I get my $9.95 back for the comet upgrade package please? Display settings are also a little. wonky. if u put the star names on it’s so cluttered it’s hard to see anything, but if you zoom in it’s more useful. But Adding images and adding lines doesn’t seem to have any effect at all. It’s frustrating to use. I thought if I turned everything off except comets, then comets would be really easy to find. But tons of other stuff still appears anyway. It’s one of those apps where you get the feeling they were really excited about it until the money started rolling in and then they just stopped working on it. However, it is great for planets.
  • App needs an update

I really like Star Chart. I actually purchased all of the additional expansions in the app. Sadly, I have never been able to see any of the satellites. I’m super pumped that I spent $5 on that. 🤨 I attempted to report a quality issue, but the App Store doesn’t show a purchase history for me to be able to do so. If this app actually showed me the things I paid to see, and got updated more than once every 7 years or so (those satellites I want to see? There’s a ton more out there in the last YEAR, let alone 7!), it would certainly be a 5 star rating.
  • Perfect for finding planets and stars

I’ve had this for a while now and love how easy it is to find the planets and stars in the night sky. If using your phone all you have to do is hold your phone up and you can see the stars or planets matching what’s on your phone, one of the simplest apps to use for night watching of the skies. You can even see satellite’s and the time they pass over your location the app has the flight times of the International space station and you can see it when it passes over. All N’ all it’s perfect for viewing the night skies
