If you need info about something happening in and around the 40, this is the App for you. Extremely informative.
Not helpful anymore
I downloaded this app for the express purpose of being able to navigate around campus. As a graduate student, I’m not the least bit interested in sports, and now this update is 100% focused on the sports aspect of UT. This app is literally pointless to me now. I’m uninstalling this app until they bring back features that make it more useful for people who aren’t obsessed about sports.

Overhaul was horribly timed and done
This app used to live up to its name of “education” and would show logged in students their class schedule and a map of campus among many other things. These are essential to have quickly on hand when starting a new semester. Smack dab in the middle of that crucial period, the developers of this app completely overhauled it without warning, removing every single ounce of anything relative to “education” and leaving only sports info. The main target of the app were left in the lurch, and while the development team promises to release another app with all the educational items restored, they still have not. In other words, they launched their update hilariously, pathetically early and deserve every 1-Star rating on here. I am writing the review because I came here to redownload for updates on the UT-OU game but I don’t think I can support this app and those decisions with even that brief usage.

Complete overhaul is 100% better!
The new version of the Texas Longhorns app is a complete overhaul from previous versions. Texas’ partnership with Sidearm Sports to make this app better has paid off. The UI is clean plus one of the best features is the live stats for all 20 of Texas’ sports teams. Check this out! #HookEm 🤘🏼
Hate the new update
Every since they sent out the most recent update, I have no use for this app anymore. The old app had useful things like class schedule and directions, whereas this one is all about sports. HATE THIS! Please change it back
Just for sports
What in the world happened to this app??? The new update literally transitioned everything to sports events/news and as a student who's been using it to get to obscurely named buildings on campus I'm mad as hell. Looks super classy tho
Useless Now
Before the 5.0 update, the student section was incredibly helpful to see your course schedule quickly as well as map to where u needed to go. The best part of the app was probably the campus map, which was incredibly useful. Now though, the only good parts of the app are gone, and it’s essentially only a Texas sports app now. I’m incredibly disappointed as I made great use of this app and now have no reason to keep it on my phone. I hope the developers considered re-implementing some of these old features, otherwise I see no reason for anyone besides ridiculously dedicated and hardcore Texas sports fans to have this app, as it is basically worthless now to any students.

Redesign failure
This redesign removes key features of the application such as the University map and the ability to access student resources such as your class schedule. The app has fundimentally changed to only serve sports fans and not students. Not what I signed up for, and very dissapointing. Used to be useful, now is not.

Really?
I love how this app is categorized under “EDUCATION” but some incredibly intelligent person decided to remove the education features entirely. No one uses this app for sports, it’s not categorized in sports, and the only people that use the app are students who now have no use for it. Thanks for removing my course schedule, Bevo bucks, dine in dollars, map, etc...

Disappointed
This new update is horrible. A big portion of your user base downloaded the app for the convenience of having the campus map and class schedule. This app is both football only and worthless.
