This app was my favorite calculator for years, through college and into the workforce. I paid to buy the premium calculator years ago, and it was labeled as a one time price to get a great scientific/graphing calculator. I have loved and bragged about this calculator. My spouse uses it as well.
In a recent update, this calculator has suddenly and significantly changed. I’m being told I need to subscribe to get a calculator I already bought a lifetime license for? And I have to click around multiple times to get to functions that used to be at my fingertips. I noticed the “color themes” example images still use the old layout, so I grabbed a screenshot. The old layout is much better! Why are parentheses and fractions now hidden?? And the “copy” button no longer results in my copied data being visible on screen… I have to go paste it somewhere to see it. This is a significant decrease in functionality, while also being told I need to pay more?? For what used to be an 11/10 calculator. I’m so frustrated.Show lessUser Katie

Por muchos años he utilizado esta aplicación de calculadora y nunca me ha fallado. Fue mi preferida por encima de cualquier aplicación o calculadora física. El problema es que ahora todo el mundo quiere hacer de cualquier cosa un servicio pago. Con eso, por lo regular, no hay problema, el problema que tengo es que cada vez que voy a utilizarla ya no voy directo a la calculadora como antes, ahora tengo que hacer de 2 a 3 pasos para entonces poder usarla. La intuitividad se perdió, la facilidad y conveniencia también. Encima de eso, ¿ahora tengo que pagar para no tener los malditos anuncios? ¡Creo que no! De verdad, muchas gracias por todos estos años de servicio que me has brindado, pero llegó el momento de cambiar.
For many years, I have used this calculator app and it has never failed me. It was my favorite above any other app or physical calculator. The problem is that now everyone wants to turn everything into a paid service. While that usually isn't a problem, the issue I have is that every time I go to use it, I don't go directly to the calculator like before; now I have to go through 2 to 3 steps before I can use it. The intuitiveness is lost, as well as the ease and convenience. On top of that, now I have to pay to get rid of the darn ads? I don't think so! Solid calculator
Update from old review. I’ve been using this for probably about 8 years. It helped me all throughout high school and though I don’t use as frequently in college, it is still great for daily use and the occasional assignment that requires it. UI is very intuitive and it is quite feature rich. Definitely worth paying for.

I’ve been using this for all 4 years of high school, and it’s been great. I haven’t paid for the extra functions, and I might eventually, but it’s much cheaper, and just as effective as a Texas Instrument calculator you’d pay over $100 for. The interface takes a second to get used to, but it’s more intuitive than your average calculator. I definitely recommend this.Show lessAidanCody
Miss the old version
This whole subscription thing for a calculator? Seriously?? This has been my go to calculator for several years alongside the built in app in iOS. I was totally fine with the ads and that fact that I could quickly open the app and it goes straight to the calculator. Now that you have to have an extra step to select the calculator mode and the only way to change that is to subscribe? I loved using this for doing percentages and other complex calculations. But honestly the extra step messes with my work flow and the subscription to fix it is a stupid idea. Until the old style is brought back, I’ll be finding another app to substitute until then.Show lesstrainkid93
Pretty good
I use this calculator all the time since I like it more than the one my phone came with. I can’t give it a five star though since after the last app update it can no longer be one of my widgets, which was super convenient. You also have to pick which calculator you want every time you open the app instead of it just opening to your last calculator. Also, a lot of the other calculators on the app aren’t free, luckily I never need them but I can see that being an annoying thing to have to pay for if I did need it.Show lessDDana<3
Paying customer screwed over by update
I’ve been a long time fan of this calculator app up until this recent update. I had originally paid a one time fee years ago to remove ads and to allow me to customize every facet of the calculator with the colors I chose. I paid so I wouldn’t be stuck with the cookie-cutter color options provided. That feature seems to have been pulled as attempting to restore my purchase seems to have no effect. I can no longer customize the colors to my liking. I’m stuck once again being forced to choose from preloaded color schemes which I don’t like. If there were a way to get a refund, I would. Very disappointed with the direction this developer has taken and what’s worse is that you can’t even contact the developer as the app support link does not work.Show lessTrenz2448

Whatever your problem this app can solve it. Just know the layout for your equation (such as deducting percentages last), and this app has your back. Simple as that! Love this app! Simple and easy and just perfect for almost every use that I know👍🏼
The easability of these calculators is so simple. And the ability to to correct a number or multiple numbers without having to start over is perfect for quick adjustments.Show less$#!++¥
Solid For Being Free
The free version of this calculator does what you’d expect and has some basic features that are nice, like being able to copy your answer to a clipboard to use in a later calculation. My one complaint is that, if you try to do a second function on the value of the answer to a first function, the calculator instead tries to edit the first function with your new inputs instead of using the answer to the first function as an input. For example, if my first operation is 5-3, and then for the second function I want to multiply that by 6, I should get 12, but when I try to input the second function after getting 5-3=2 the calculator goes back to my original function and modifies it to be 5-3*6, which is not the function I wanted.Show lessPost-grad User
Functional Calculator with very drawbacks
It’s a calculator. Some recent updates have caused minor annoyances, but in general its functionality and appearance mirrors that of the Apple standard/basic calculator that is a native app for iOS, while adding functions you would expect from a calculator which Apple neglected to include. Inputs and buttons are very intuitive, which should be commonplace, but seems to be a lost art in many free apps. There is even more functionality that can be unlocked by paying for them, but not worth it in my opinion.Show lessWolfoiy
Please Un-Revamp and Roll Back the New Update!
I’ve loved this calculator app for many years, but the app. revamp that happened this week has totally ruined it! The very useful copy and paste functions have completely disappeared, and the app. now gives a subscription-based model menu full of locked out functions. When I go to restore the prior purchase I made of this app., I get an error message that will not allow me to do this. I see a note from the developers to please bear with them while they work through bugs on the revamp. But please, please just restore the prior 100% perfect version that you already had! And if you must move forward with the revamped version, then at least allow prior paid customers like myself to revert to the old wonderful version of your app. as it was.Show lessR2P2JP
