was working fine till IPHONE 5
I've just started using this sound app thingy and since I've been using it I find that I am getting really nice clear dreams at nights. I suspect that soon I might be getting lucid dreams too. One other great thing is that after I wake up I feel a special feeling of peace and wellbeing thoughout the rest of the day. Now I look forward to going to bed and to sleep. I use the sleep setting number one, with thunderstorm in the background. NICE!
UPDATE:
I had to downgrade my rating to one star because my upgrade to Iphone 5 has rendered this app useless. Now it doesn't work at all.

It works
I've always had vivid dreams but I've been having extremely frequent vivid dreams when using this program. I used to have lucid dreams frequently and at will when I was younger from about 5 years old till i was about 19. I slowly lost this gift and am now 33. I've come really close to my old potential now since using this. Right now I realize I'm dreaming and take control for short periods but then fall into a vivid dream cycle. I almost got it though...this is so awesome to feel again! But it stopped working when i downloded ios5.Show lessEdward78

I was really skeptical at first but I wanted to try something different than what I had. My ADD runs my mind at night and I wanna avoid taking sleeping pills... come to find out ~ this thing made my dreams very different. It was really really cool. Incredible app!

Best binaural beats app I've found
Put me to sleep in minutes with deep sleep TBSW-S. And after a week tried astral 4 and got so close last night! Whole body tingling! Thanks for informational about each of the waves as well!NekoLeo
Fantastic, even for the impatient
So I'm 14 and have been very interested in astral projection for a week or so now. Ive read numerous websites and tricks on how to astral project. My first time using this app I set it to 10 mins with astral projection 1 an rain. I've never felt more relaxed than I did with that. Defiantly worth 2 bucksShow lessZawqze
Would be better if
I read the description regarding the 200ms gaps in the cycles and I am okay with that. But all of these apps (I've bought 3 so far) would be better if the programs began and ended with a more gradual change in volume. Gradually begin and gradually end. Or perhaps add it as an option like a "gradual volume change" button. As is, it's Too abrupt. Gives the same feeling as though I were being jolted awake.Show lessVict_Benk
Interesting technology
As others mentioned, the brainwave loops are not seamless, which takes away from the smoothness of sound. Also, I wish there were more background sounds available for this price. My rating would've been higher otherwise.emetaphor
So glad I got this app!
I just got into lucid dreaming and had a couple successes already. This app is just what I was looking for as an external helper/ assistant. A lot of info is given about the features, what they're used for, as well as technical info in lamens.
From my recent research I am already convinced (b4 even using the app) that it was defiantly worth the purchase. And I don't spend easily.

This app is a joke. You can hear the point where the loop ends and starts over. The developer must have generated the tones in advance and didn't know how to design them to loop seamlessly, so he threw in a quick fade in/fade out, which completely throws the beat out of rhythm. This defeats the whole purpose of the binaural beat technology.
If someone would make an actual tone generator app, where you can set the 'beat' frequency yourself and it generated live, that would be amazing. I have dabbled with software on the mac with fantastic results. This one here fails miserably however, as again, the beat isn't consistent at the point it loops (every ten seconds or so). Without a consistent beat you can't entrain your brain into any altered state, making this a fruitless endeavor. Save your buck.Show lessMaple vs. Honey
