I loaded Hey Tell onto my iPad as I was off traveling overseas for 6 weeks. It has worked brilliantly and has been a great way of keeping in touch with friends and family at home. Can't imagine living without it!Gezz4
A complete GODSEND!
This app has truly changed my life! I have just had to move away from my absolutely adored almost 2 yrs nephew who I call my superhero cos his smile saves my life daily I used to see him everyday for most part we were never apart more than a few hours but now I only see him every month or so heytell means he can hear my voice and I his and it honestly has me in tears most times. I use it everyday and cannot possibly rate this high enough. It's simple enough for him to use messages are clear and extras are great fun too! I would pay anything to use this in a heartbeat so for it to be free just blows me away thankyou thankyou thankyou heytell you have changed my life and I could never thankyou enough a job PERFECTLY done!!Show lessLongWindedReviewer
Brilliant
Great app!! Use it all the time. Easy like a phone call but with the convenience of txting - reply when you can. My only criticism is that there is no way to not send a voice message once you are done recording it. A send button or confirm or something word be nice.Grayskin
Horrible app! Always stops working!
Horrible app! Constantly quits working and won't play messages that were sent! Always has notices that the server is down and won't work! Crappy crappy CRAPPY app!Peanut211819
An app that everybody should have!!!!
A great app, really easy to use and a great way of talking to people for a quick response. I use it every day so my husband can hear what our 15 month old little boy is doing and new things that he's saying, treasured moments no daddy wants to mis when they are having to work, every mummy should have this app.Show lessMrs owen and son
Room for improvements.
Awesome quality sound from voice recordings but a few things they could improve on like profile could have picture as with contacts. When u open App it automatically plays message received and can be abrupt when others are around. Only let's you record for a short time then stops- this needs to have a timer counting down so we know when to have everything said or we are left with heaps of recorded messages regarding the one conversation. Also would be good to do more about the lay out of messages it gets abit too much and confusing with so many messages looking the same.Show lessJramps

Absolutely brilliant app, while Skype and viber offer more they do need a great connection to have a proper conversation. Heytell is a handy 'walkie talkie' app that makes life easier especially when you're on the move and can't commit to a phone call. Better than texting!Buletproof_Qpid
Brilliant
Heytell has been a fantastic help to myself and my wife. I have recently been house-bound after a major op. And my wife was able to take the dog for a walk in the nearby woods and keep in touch the whole time. This gave us much peace of mind and the security of knowing that we were both ok. Time to yell about the amazing Heytell
I downloaded this app as one of my friends recommended it and have not put it down since. I use it to contact and keep in touch with all my regular friends who I used to text. I love hearing the voices of the ones I love and its the next best thing to realtime conversation when time is of a premium. I'd like to see more support for voiceover on the user interface but that's about it... A very good all round app.Show lessvipodcasting

just ONE thing, please make the address book update all your friends auto instead of having to invite them one at a time. only bug bear on an orherwise great design. Simple works well and excellent concept :-)scottiescottiescottie
