  • Great app.

Fun, easy to use and very handy.
  • Love it

Does what it says which is a rare thing with apps if this kind. Using it a lot. Be careful what you say though as once you say it its gone. ;-) its like having free voicemail sent back and forth between friends. Thought id get bored of it but still using it to send quick messages to friends. I just hope my data allowence is not affected to much. They say a message is the same as sending an email( so its not totally free) but you would text the person or call them insted so this is ok. Only downside is that if you have a lot of free mins insted of free data on your phone tariff this will eat up data when you may want to use your free mins to text or call a friend insted. But still. Awesome app

  • HeyTell is the GOODS!

Turn your phone into a walkie talkie? Hell yes! Easily one of the most fun ways of staying in touch with friends. Not a fan of texting? Just use HeyTell, press and record in real time, and it's how my friends and I are communicating and best of all? Free!
  • Hey Hey Hey Tell Tell Tell

Fabulous APP, probably most used apart from camera apps! Brilliant but is there a cure from this crazy fun communication? Special friend and I cruise around having a bit of fun separately and together using Hey Tell as a CB or Walkie Talkie - certainly brought out my inner bogan and my need to learn some VoiceOver techniques! Haven't put it down in days, got my 3 adult kids into it, they poo poo'd it from the first few suggestions but quickly and within an hour or so realized how great it is and now market it to their friends using ME and my lovely PG friend/client! to demonstrate
Can't wait until we get to the drive-in!
    YOU WILL LOVE IT.........!

  • Love it

In my opinion this is the best app yet. I've gotten so many people onto it and it's great to connect quickly with people even when their overseas. Sometimes you don't wanna have a whole conversation with someone and you just want to ask them a quick question, or say something stupid or use it as a verbal text message (which is great when driving). Its like a walky talky. Get this app!!! It's awesome

  • Hey Tell takes Australian Arts Industry by storm

This application is great and has really taken off in the arts community. When our phones are off at the theatre or we have limited time to break, it's a convenient way to communicate with friends without taking a long time to type text messages. (and we dramatic folk love hearing the sound of our own voices played back, so there is another plus!!)
Seriously though, I have never seen an app take a hold of the industry this fast!! Amazing!

  • Great App !

The add-ons are a little pricey but otherwise it works quite well. A few minor bugs still need to be sorted but otherwise great ! I think the call button could be positioned a little lower on the interface and easier imports of contacts like the way "Whatsapp" does it, by letting you know who has downloaded the App instantaneously with an Whatsapp icon next to the contact in your contacts. I would also rather pay for this App and not the add-ons though ... strange but true ... otherwise keep up the good work with HeyTell great concept still needs a little work though !

  • Yup

Every iPhone user should have this app.
  • A great App

Works really well but does take a little understanding to set up, for example, your numbers all need to have a + at the start, doesn't like 0 as a starting number, once you've got started though, great fun and very useful. Would give five stars if it was easer to set up but gets four stars easily as it works across all smart phones not just iPhones, so you don't have to wait for all your friends to buy an iPhone to use it!

  • The not quite ready for prime-time app.

This program works nicely and does what it says it will do and perhaps most importantly it's free! However anytime you restore your phone your account is lost forever with no notification to your contacts. Each time your phone is restored, even if you have the same phone number and use the same contact as "That's Me", a new accoutn is created leaving you a stranger to anyone you previously talked too. Another danger to this is that I can select any contact as "That's Me" and when other HeyTell users go to send a message to that person, I get it. eg. I said I was my buddy Frank. Well Tina went to send a HeyTell message to Frank and was asked which Frank. One would goto Frank and one to me although there was no indication which one was valid. On the other hand if I restore my iphone I am able to restore addon's I previously purchased suing my apple store creditials.

IMHO, this program should be $5 and come with the broadcast and message wipe "Addons" by default. It should also create an account based on your caller ID and email address rather than just selecting any contact in your address book. This is a great product if it's security/account management problems were fixed.
