Great!
I'm a piano and guitar player, and I play by ear. And I'm trying to learn how to write And create songs, and this app, is going to help A LOT! Thanks so much for creating this app. =)Really hard to understand
Why put a million dots on a Fret board to completely confuse who ever is looking at?Good info, but needs more
Nice looking app with good info, but it needs a "quiz mode" to be useful for ear training. The piano sounds reasonably close, but the guitar sounds like a toy piano.Wrong notations! Don't buy.
I have no faith in people who can't write even the basic of notes, this app has a few obvious notes which are totall wrong. For example, the blues scale shows an d flat on the stave when in fact it is an e flat show on the piano. Not a great app. Sorry guys but I need someone who really knows about music.Show lessGenuinely Usefull
This is helpful on the fly, but even when im writting at home and dont know where to go next in my riff. definitely worth it.Good App
This is a nice app. It gives me the information I need (mainly what notes are in a key) in a fast and clean manner. It would be nice if I could select a bass guitar.Okay, but there are better apps
It's good for what it does, but overall it is inferior to the Nota app, which has many more scales, and has chords and stuff. I have both of these apps and I feel I would have been just as good without this one. But, if all you are looking for is scales and modes, by all means grab this.Excellent app!
Thanks for this! It's just what I needed to practice my vocals with. I have been teaching a guitar method using these scales for years and will recommend to my students and anyone wanting to learn these scales. Suggestion to add practice mode utilizing a pre programmed circle of fifths based on root note. That would be great for a fast paced daily excessive.Show lessDamn
Not worth a 1.99. Search engine your
Scales n modes instead. No outstanding features out functionsExactly what I needed.
I've been teaching my daughter piano for the past year. She's done remarkably well despite my lack of teaching ability. The only stumbling block has been the relationship of scales and modes -- I can explain and she learns the individual scales just fine, but their relationships have been difficult to convey. That changed within 5 minutes of downloading this app. The examples are clear, straightforward, and consistent. The contemporary music examples are totally relevant, whether from The Beatles, Guns n Roses, or Brahms, they have all be examples we know and are familiar with. Kudos to the great paper & script look, as well!Show less
