I just came across this because I was simply hoping to find doctors near me that I can choose. Instead i ended up playing doctor to my whole family. What a great idea.
I was able to perform a preliminary test that ended up convincing us that it was time to go see a doctor for our child's vision and my mom's too.

Great app to get little ones engaged in eye exam
This is such a great app. My daughter always makes so much fuss fir exams. I got her to play with app an even get engaged to find a local doctor to fix et eyes to play better :) we both loved eyeXam.Dena Banana

Fantastic eye app!
Easy to search for eye doctors and contact them. Better and faster than searching on Google because all their information is right there. Very easy to contact eye doctors and ask questions. Love this app!!!!SaraPodi

App is a welcome tool in dealing with AMD. While no substitute for direct care the app allows for handy testing and awareness of AMD symptoms. Awareness,of course, allows for prompt review by a physician.45Niantic

More info than I thought
Pay no attention to the complainers. I downloaded 3 eye exam apps so we could test for colorblindness. This App has lots more tho. You just need to tap around and besides all the tests (nicer versions than my other 2 dl's) you'll be taken to a website with lots of info about eyes, testing for different age groups, eye diseases, quizzes and more!
When you open the App, you will immediately see and hear a video selling something, but just as quickly you can tap on the X in corner to make it go away. Mine started each time with "Hello, my name is Florence Henderson & I've no idea if she's there hawking Wesson oil. Lol My point is - its not that horrid like the person below said. For a free app, I think there isn't that much
