The Slate app works perfectly, no problems. Content is great & more necessary than ever since the election.

Easy to use, and great access to content.
I love the layout of the app as it leads to me meandering through the news, rather than looking for targeted stories. The only criticism is that Slate Plus content should be better identified.

The mobile website is quite difficult to use but this app is very slick, login is smooth and all round a pleasure to use - much better way to get Slate content
Can’t share via e-mail in the iPad app
I like Slate Magazine but the share via e-mail functionality is broken and has been for some time. For a lot of people myself included this is a deal-breaker. (Can’t even copy link or open in browser from app).
Great content, poor app
Slate is my favourite source for news and a leisurely read and I use this app many times a day, even if its got some pretty big flaws. Hardly any pictures will show (esp. annoying when an article is referencing a specific image or feature stats) and it glitches frequently. Still, for the content itself, highly recommended.

Get this app
This is, in short, a top-quality news app. Don't buy it simply for it's purply colour, pleasing to the eye as it may be. Buy it for the quality of its content. This app proves the old cliche that 'you learn something new every day'. Be a sport. Download this bad boy.

Easy to use app, always something interesting to read, no functionality issues for me.
Decent App
I love Slate and have had their app for some time. This is the best version. They have fixed the problems with the app crashing. And the content seems to be the same as is available on the website. My only quibble and the reason I didn't give it a 5 is that some articles don't seem to have a link back to the home page, so you get stuck in the articles that are linked to the one you selected. But I am seeing that less and less.
