Love Slate, app could be improved
I'm an avid reader of Slate, one of the best emags out there. But this app has been extremely glitchy on my iPhone 4s, crashing at least twice before having some kind of stability. Please fix!

Great content but app crashes
Love Slate's content and the app is easy to use and reasonably nice to look at. It's a shame it crashes so much. Especially when you try to view the different sections e.g. arts/news.
great content but crashes a lot
I am a huge fan of Slate and read articles on this app about once a day. the articles are consistently interesting and well-written. but WHY is this app so buggy, it crashes basically every time i open it and it updates. not a big deal as just re-open the app but annoying.

A great view of reading slate on iOS devices. A more powerful search fiction is the main fault but otherwise a great app.

I just can't get on without my daily dose of Slate and I appreciate the app for enabling me to get that.
BUT, I do wish there was a search function and greater mobile support- sometimes when I go back to old columns it displays the full site. And I notice that you can't select the article author's name and look at their archive, which I'd like.

Surprisingly terrible
Very buggy, to the point of unread ability. Frozen screens, can't fast forward properly in podcasts, links to internal Slate articles that are literally unreadable, plus constant pop-ups asking that I download the app (what do you think I am reading this on, Slate?). Mobile site also appalling. What a disappointment. Don't use this, just download the podcasts via iTunes.
