  • Almost what I was looking for.

Minimalist style interface, very simple handy program.

Needs to be able to save the documents you create though in the app itself though. -1 star
  • Assists is where the magic happens.

This is a really nice app for a quick note. It's not for archiving information or even working with text. It's just a quick way to add notes to a virtual piece of paper; however, the magic comes from the assist library. It's even possible to create custom assists.
  • Brilliant!

Just got this for composing an email whilst my regular email app was lagging, and I have to say, it is fantastic! Nice simply layout without any irritating fonts, and the option to copy all text was incredibly convenient. The only thing I would have liked was the ability to embolden, italicise and underline text, though I haven't had a chance to try all the features yet so if I've missed that I'm sorry.
Very useful little app- I'll certainly be keeping it on my phone!

  • My Favorite App !

My second review raving about this excellent app. It's fast, fun, stable & ever so useful.

I've placed it on the dock of my iPhone so it's immediately available to create notes or any other writing I do.

Great for creating emails, or any other text, it's just fantastic. You've got to use it to appreciate all it can do.

  • Great icon :)

Just what I was looking for to compose emails and take notes. Simple and easy.
  • Great flexibility

I use this to cut and paste or jot quick notes down and then either save to dropbox or open in a more full featured note app. I love that it does exactly what I need.
I've used it to quickly add items to the calendar, and send tweets.
It does not do open in... Several of the apps I use but I don't know where the issue is.
I use Meteor notes with wifi to my computer. I'd be thrilled if I could tell Draftpad to send a note to either the wifi connection on my computer or meteor notes.
I use Errands as a task manager and could see sending notes there.

There might be other apps it integrates with that I don't know about yet, merits some more documentation.
I think Draftpad makes for a great bridge to all the apps I use.
Put handwriting to digital text conversion in, keep it simple and I'd pay good money.
Don't change it's purpose, just expand on the library a bit.

  • Not bad

This app is pretty good. It's just that there's a limit to the History - it only goes back to a certain time. I've lost documents from the summer and I cannot get to them because the history doesn't go back that far.

Other than that, it's a pretty good app.
  • Perfection

I have many apps on my iPad and have never felt inclined to review any before this one. As a professional designer and artist, what struck me about draftpad was its perfection. It does one thing without compromise and without fault. It differs from other apps in that it gives you the full screen width and nothing else, immediately on opening, you then type - that's it.

  • Crashing.

It deserves a 2 star cause it keeps crashing.
  • In place of "word"

I was looking for an app I could jot down some notes and forward them to my assistants. I was looking for an app similar to "word". This app is great! Not only did I get that, it had a forwarding email app and it saves the address so no more typing! NICE JOB! And it's free. I would have paid for this one.
