This is the first app to support Samurai Sudoku, which is great. But for actually playing with pencil marks things bog down. The app crashes every time I finish a game and there is no documentation of any kind anywhere I could find.
I took me 15 minutes to figure out how to enter pencil marks and I only found it because I have played almost every Sudoku out there and knew likely places to look. Hint: double tap a cell to switch between digit entry and pencil mark entry. When playing Samurai, the pencil marks are very small and difficult to read. The constant double tapping gets tedious and it is difficult to find a place for the number palette in portrait mode that doesn't either cover up a cell or mean lots of arm movement to get anything done.
I like the in app purchase system, and for now this is your only choice for playing Samurai Sudoku. Hopefully future versions can add a little documentation and fix the crashes.
