Clean interface but could add some features
I have tried several Suduko apps and this one works well and may be my favorite except for a few problems. The app needs to keep a stack of active games. I was a bit surprised when I decided to leave my in-progress game and record an interesting one from a newspaper. The older game is discarded. This also means you can't record several newspaper puzzles for later play.
Stack added puzzles
Change background image
Use double tap to fill in final digit in square, row or column
Allow resize of number pad
Allow font change for set digits versus placed digits
Allow user to add pencil marks (don't fill them in for me)

Buggy
My problem is similar to brfisher's -- Won one standard game, bought full app, and can't get it to start a new game. How does one get a refund?Jrbdr
Buggy. Limited number of games to play.
Skip it. The app crashes crashes just as you're going to win. There's a limited number of games on the free version. And on the bigger games like sudoku samurai you can't zoom in. Those squares get kind of small, but my fingers remain the same size.incun40

i like the samurai sudoku games, but when i enter the last number, it crashes and when i come back in, it puts me at the place i was when i started up the session. if they fix the crashes, it would be worth more.@jcg1013
Ugly, Basic
This app is pretty ugly--especially for an iPad app. It's very basic, and there are much better Sudoku apps out there. 2 stars for being free.MandyJoBo

Nice app but crashes when you win
Nice app but when playing the plus or samurai layouts it crashes as soon as you win. If this problem is fixed I would upgrade to the full version.akbdeck
Great app but..
This is a fantastic app but it's crashes every time I am about to finish a puzzle. I'm sure the creator will fix the problem. I love how you can do many puzzles it's great.Unknown0020
