SnesMusic is a player for game music files. It play rsn super nes files. It can also play Game Boy Advance (gsf), Nintendo DS (2sf) PlayStation(psf,minipsf) Nintendo 64 (usf), NES(nsf,nfse), Megadrive(vgm), PC-engine(hes), Gameboy(gbs), Game Gear(vgm), Master System(vgm) Music files via in app purchase. With SnesMusic you can listen SNES music without having to bring your SNES every where you go. How convenient !!! You can add your .RSN files with iTunes File Sharing very easily http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4094?viewlocale=en_US or you can also download RSN files with safari, SnesMusic will open it automatically and add it to your music library! HI FI sound quality but still good old 16bit chiptune ;) Playlist support mixing different game system (mix 8bit and 16 bit chiptune !!). Cover support find images with the magnifier button and capture screen or download image with the + button or just a two finger touch. Airplay and bluetooth headset support Background support, music will keep playing even if you use surf the web or read mails !! Control available on lock screen and multitasking bar. SnesMusic does not support spc files alone.   • My go-to For Retro Music

    The interface is very user friendly and it’s easy to download game soundtracks. I personally use the playlist features most often, which are very useful to get exactly what I want to listen to. However, one of my favorite DS games isn’t on the app. Sonic Colors DS isn’t an obscure game by any means and deserves to be available. I hope you can update the app to import it, since the soundtrack is among my favorites on the DS. Again, wonderful app and I’m very happy with my experiences!

  • Retro Games Music Mania

    Fun and easy to use app to enjoy the classic game jams from many consoles of from the good, care free days! Mostly works great, except few bugs where the track title of the current track playin gets stuck on the player screen if you leave the player screen into the library list of game soundtracks and then choose to open the player screen again to see what track it is currently playin - shows same track title when you left the player screen while already playin other track from the list. That is very annoyin and distractin. To refresh the current track title playin, must skip back or forward, then forward or back again. Same goes for the iPhone drop down tray and on Lock Screen - title display does not follow the current track playin. Would love to see the bug fix update for these defects. Usin 12 Pro Max device with iOS 15.6.1 and soon will update to 16.1.1 to see if this issue remains.

    Bottom line, this is a fabulous app for enjoyin and rockin the classic game jams and I use it often!

  • Great way to enjoy old music

    This is a great app for listening to old game music! It works great as a music player, even continuing to play music over night if you so wish. Simple touch interface for immediate gratification for whatever song you want to listen to, shuffle, looping, etc.

    You can’t exactly add your own music either in a WAV/MP3 format or their “native” formats even for those games that are missing or incomplete. That said, their library is pretty solid for most of the popular games on each platform. Still, I would appreciate an obvious way to add music to the app, either directly attached or within the app itself.
