Very good but....
Okay, this app is extremely good BUT I have just upgraded to the iPad pro and I find that if you use your iPad pro pencil too slowly, there are jumps or skips in the lines, even after I change the iPad pen mode there are still these very annoying skips, please remedy this.. I really do love this app but I have already begun to search for other apps that will give me the smoothness that I am looking for. (But if someone knows how I can fix this problem myself please bring it to my attention.) thank you :)Show lessLunaLunar52

I don't leave reviews as a rule but feel the need here 😎 great app and real easy to use. The ability to import and export is cool. I use mainly to dodge and burn but feel this app can offer me so much more...look forward to learning. ArtStudio for iPad...AWESOME!!!
This is the finest Art App I am using for my works of art. I have many...some of which I've discarded since using ArtStudio for iPad...yes, it is that good!
Everything about it is first class, that can be used by a budding artist, in between artist and/or professional artist.
The tools are so realistic, I find myself feeling as if I am creating on a real canvas with real paint and tools.
The colors are beautiful and can be blended to perfection...if desired.
Sketching and drawing are benefited just as well as painting on ArtStudio for iPad.
Layout is very important to me and ArtStudio's suits me extremely well. Everything is easily within reach...and if you do not want to see the tools, colors, etc. they can be hidden until you want them again.
Also, you can have several sizes of canvas to choose from.
If you choose to try it, there is no doubt you will like it. I would recommend it highly to everyone.
For some, it might have a slight learning curve, but be patient with yourself. It will well be worth you while.Show less1934829

This is a great app for any budding artists, but I find when I draw it's not very smooth, causing my drawings to be more blockier, if you could maybe make the pixels a bit smaller would be awesome.
Now it may just be that I tend to do small drawings, but this is actually a great app!!How Crazy Are You?
Awesome Art App
To preface, I used version 5.98 on an iPad using iOS 9.2.1. This tool is very similar to Photoshop, however, understandably not boasting as many features as Photoshop does, though. It still has many very useful features, including layering, filters, relative ease of use, etc. The biggest issue I had with this app were ones that naturally come with any touch screen-based application, being things such as the issue of some of the screen needs to be used for commands, however, these can be hidden through a simple button on the top right corner. Another issue, however, is the price point. It can be tough to justify spending five dollars on any application, but for one who is serious about creating art and wants to primarily use one’s iPad to do so, this a great tool with lots of great features.Show lessAwesome Art App!

So much to explore
I've been using this app on my phone then on an iPad for a few years. After all of this time I am still experimenting with new things. The documentation isn't good, but if you learn by doing this is a fantastic drawing/painting program. You can even export as a PSD with layers and transparency, and it's a nice big file. My only real issue is I wish you could do video playback of the drawings.Show lessMrs Roscoe
Really great app, but there's one thing that it needs
This app is really top notch. I think it is one of the most useful app for artists on the App Store. Really robust and feature packed. Reminds me of what I feel that PS touch should have been. But the only real gripe that I have with this app is palm rejection. I would absolutely love to see a setting to turn off finger input on the canvas aside from gestures for panning/zooming/rotating. That would alleviate frustrations will discovering all the strokes my palm as been creating and having to punch holes in my work to remove specks my palm create, the re-color the places back in.
