Text view keeps dropping

Works well when it does—but the Text view is repeatedly lost (converts to a PDF-like view), and restored only by deleting and reinstalling the app.

Can’t even login. App just crashes every time I attempt to open it. I have purchased magazines on the App and can’t view them.

ZINIO is my favourite private magazine library

I’ve been coming here every week for years , secretly.
I have an eclectic lineup of titles I can revisit whenever I want.
Zinio is my favourite reference section, my best treat hour.

Love It

To be honest, I really love this app. with previous magazine apps. The issue is you can’t do text to speech because it is locked to PDF, as someone with ADHD text to speech is crucial. It’s like having an audiobook. Zinio has the feature to read in either PDF, or text, which allows me to use text to speech, highlight, or define the word. But I love switching to PDF when I want to read it like a true magazine or see the original paper design of the magazine. I like that they have majority of magazines on there, I read vanity fair, Vogue Australia and Vogue living, - I don’t have to download a new app every time I get a new subscription. When I have none of my issues left to read I love reading the free articles they offer from various magazines. It broadens my culture and literature, It’s nice to see how many writers there are in the world, especially when we thought print magazine was dying.

Corrupted Device Limit

I have updated my rating to four stars because Zinio support responded fairly quickly and reset my login. If/when Zinio implements a method for logging out of unknown devices without having to log in, the app would be worth another star. I’ve always appreciated Zinio’s interface and reliability, but there has to be a way for the customer to do this without having to contact customer service and wait for a response. I have other apps, like McAfee’s, that will allow me to do that.

I am logged into Zinio on exactly one device (my iPhone), yet I cannot access my library on this device (it states that I have no subscriptions). I tried logging into my account from my laptop, but it informs me that I have exceeded my device limit. If there are no tools available to correct this error, then this service is useless. I rated two stars because I have had literally hundreds of subscriptions through Zinio over the past decade or so. I can still use my Zinio Unlimited subscription, but what about my past issues? I am extremely frustrated by this bug/issue, and Zinio’s “Help” is no help.

bugs

your recent bug fixes just made the bugs bigger pests

When I pressed the text mode everything seemed fine. But then I couldn’t revert back to the previous mode or go back to my other magazines. I tried closing the app and nothing changed. I deleted the app and reloaded it and lost everything. Even had trouble signing in.

Lost magazines

ZINIO has lost countless magazines and have not responded to my help request. Up to that time, they were excellent.
