Almost perfect
Functionally, this app is pretty much the best there is, although there are no scientific functions that I can find. (Edit - I have just received a tip within the app that states scientific mode is available when dealing with very large or very small numbers)
The design is ok. It's slightly cramped on the iPhone (although it's visually very good), and because of that I tend to default to the stock app for quick and simple calculations. I think it needs a refresh on the iPad as well, it just doesn't look quite right, the visual appearance is not as good as the iPhone version. The various components of the app seem to jar against each other and against the status bar (white against off white looks weird), and the two colourable areas either side of the calculator display look out of place, but that's just my opinion.
I also think it would be useful to have a selection of preconfigured colours to choose from in addition to the hue and saturation sliders.
Still, as long as you don't need scientific functions, this app comes highly recommended from me.Show lessChristopher Stott

Great app
Love this app. A subtotal/grand total button would make this app 10 stars. Yes I have found that not adding the operator starts a new calculation but I would prefer a button - more like other calculators and I have to remember to change my input... New calculation or follow on?
Would also like to add comments down a list without having to open the dialogue box each time for each entry - a pain for long lists.

Form ever follows function
I give this 3C approval - clean, complete and clever! I tried many before finding this a couple of years back... and I haven't changed my mind. Clean design means easy to use. Great calculator (made even better)
Does what a calculator does very well. Easy to use, with great features. I really like the fact that I can scroll back and see the details of past calcs to make sure I didn't mis-type, with the ability to have multiple tapes/ribbons (whatever they're called) enabling one to have long multiple long running calculations on the go.Show lessGuidoHUK

I was going to write a review describing all its many features...but, to cut to the chase. This really is the best calculator I have ever owned or used. On iPad I would give it 100% great product.Who needs a nickname ???!
