  • New version of an old favorite

The latest addition to the Relax Melodies collection is very similar to the original, as it has many (if not all) of the same sounds and melodies as the first. However, what does set it apart is the fact that the new (that is, additional) melody selections are tailored more for meditation, and there are guided practices for different areas in ones life. Of course, as with the rest of the set, the app is great for—you guessed it—helping to fall asleep!
  • Best app for sleep and relaxation

I’ve been using this app since I got my first iPhone in 2009. It has change a lot over time and in very good ways. My wife and I use this app almost every night for sleep with very few exceptions. When we put our children down for their naps, this is always on hand as it helps create a relaxing atmosphere even for babies.
There is a large number of sounds to choose from and the sound quality is nice. I don’t often use the guided meditations but the few that I have used have worked great with “practice”.
The Relaxation series of apps are excellent. No need for anything else.
  • Awesome app to get baby to sleep

I've been using this app for the last 3 years to help my little one sleep. Her preferred sounds are the crickets, owls, and white noise. Each sound is individually controlled and there is a master volume control for everything. Also fun to play around with if you're an audiophile.
  • Slumberland

Relaxing and soothing tones along with guided meditation. There have been many improvements and additions over the years. The alarm feature is wonderful. There are some features it could use. Ones to improve the ease of setting alarms and identifying which meditation is set for the time. This is one of my top 5 apps.
  • Customizable sleep

I've had insomnia since I was a child, and I've use sound machines of all types sporadically over the years. However, the vast array of choices and customizability of this app really make it stand out. I have several different customized soundscapes depending on how my day went, whether I feel sleepy or not, if my brain won't stop churning. I love that I can run the app all night or have it fade out. It's really improved the quality and duration of my sleep, and I highly recommend it.
  • Wonderful sleeping app

A great app for sleep and if you suffer from tinnitus, I use every night, the great selection of sounds covers all preferences, can drift to sleep, also a timer so can set to turn off, well worth getting this app. Also a meditation section, 10 minutes of relaxation.
  • Lullabies for Grownups

Beautiful app...loved it before but now, with update it is near perfection. Was having trouble sleeping, usually fall asleep with the television on, but the obvious brightness from the television was preventing me from having restful sleep.

Started using the apps variety of melodies and my sleep has been so peaceful, I wake up so relaxed from much needed sleep...Thank You Relax Meditation
  • Wonderful relaxation!

I was originally looking for ocean recordings when I found this app. I downloaded the trial and enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying the full version and bought oriental melodies and seasons with it.

I was originally nervous my boyfriend wouldn't want to listen as a sleep-aid(since I had gotten it to help me sleep when he wasn't in bed yet or out of town visiting family) but he instantly began a "put o the rain, please, girlfriend!" Each night and since the app is so versatile, we get to decide what kind of rain we would like to hear.

As someone who randomly battles insomnia after a Traumatic Brain Injury 6 years ago, the isochronic tones have really helped me with sleep and just allowing my brain to remain calm while healing when awake. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  • The BEST!

I've explored many, many ambient sound apps...and not just free ones.
This app allows each and every sound you want to listen individually. It has many sounds: 5 rain, 4 storm, 3 thunder, 4 oceans/waves...
This has options for music, guided meditation, and a clock/alarm which can be switched off. The last one is vital for me since changes in sounds is one reason to wear them.
I have used this app for a couple years. I need sounds that mask my tinnitus and also keeps out unusual/sudden changes of sound from startling me or waking me up.
I've tried more than a dozen other apps. I think having choices through out the program (clock: alarm/no, music: mine/yours/source, guided lessons yes/no/choices) is what makes this program really fulfill my needs.
I wasn't paid for this review! I just think this is the best one available.
  • Great app

Listen to it every night. I live with night owls who can be loud when I'm trying to sleep. This app helps me relax plus drown out the noise around me and I can fall asleep and stay asleep.
I wish they updated sounds more often but other than that I have no complaints.
