If you’re like me and ski/snowboard several + times a year, then I’d def recommend you buy this app. It tracks and saves personal stats (speed, # of runs, vertical, etc) from you’re day on the slopes. It’s not a super sophisticated app, but rather a simple app that makes it fun to see how you didn’t the end of the day.
It’s easy to use. All I do is hit the Play button (start button) when I first arrive, and then it just runs and records in the background while I listen to music and enjoy the mountain. At lunch, I’ll hit the Pause button, and then will hit play again when I head back out. At the end of the day, you press the stop button, and save it.
Once saved, I’ll then review my stats from the day, and will compare them to previous days and/or previous ski trips that I saved to see how I did. It’s also fun to compare your stats with your friends to see who had the fastest speed, or the highest vertical, etc.
It’s also neat to review your trail map for the day, which shows each of your runs highlighted, and numbered so you can see where you went around the mountain that day (can also review any previously recorded day).
There may be better apps out there for recording/tracking your day’s ski stats (and other stuff perhaps), but if you’re just interested in reviewing your basic stats from that day, then you’ll be happy you purchased Ski Tracks.
Hope this helps someone, and you find it worth it like I do.
