Incredible value for it’s functionality
The developer of this app understands the line learning process. So much functionality takes a few days to grasp it all, but also easy to just start having fun with it. Once mastered, it can seriously speed up the learning process and give actors the confidence to ‘act’ now they are confident of their lines. We are currently developing a script for a musical play with 10 actors and musicians (who also have minor speaking parts). The collaboration the app enables is awesome. The stats of scenes and characters are invaluable. I’ve used other similar apps, this tops them all 5*

Love It
I’ve been using Linelearner for a few years and love the easy and simple flow of the app. I reached out to tech support and they responded quickly and helped me figure out my issue (which was basically just me not seeing an option lol). I would suggest an upgrade: an option to replay only your lines + cue lines; and an option to play only cue lines…. Which might be there already, and again, it’s just me not seeing it lol.

Doesn’t work with wireless headphones
I loved this app always learned my lines out walking the dog but stopped working with wireless headphones. So painful this has been a year now.

I am on year two with this app and it has been a game changer for me. I learn lines while doing tasks or driving. No more sitting in a room rereading line after line. I am involved in community theatre with usually one production a year. It has become my essential tool in learning lines since I purchased the app.

This is so helpful. Definitely look over the tutorial as the app isnt very intuitive. But it has all the features you’d want to work on memorizing your lines. Its absolutely worth the money. I can run lines in the car when I’m really short on time. So helpful!

The recording part is mostly ok with some bugs but I honestly need a written way and that would be amazing because I need to test myself but that's hard when there's not really a slow down button or skip line.
Would be amazingly better with a written option to write your lines and cues for a script an I'll definitely use this app more!

Best of your options, no subscription, one big thing to watch out for-
This imo is the best of the line learning app options available. Pro- nice options for leaving gaps and pitching voices up and down is a good touch. BIG pro- no subscription, just a one time cost (sadly a dying breed of app). BIG CON- make a absolutely sure you put your scene breaks in correctly ON THE FIRST TRY. If you record and then try to change the scene breaks IT CANNOT BE DONE. The only options is so move hundreds of already recorded lines around the scene breaks which are set in stone. New scene breaks cannot be added into already recorded lines. So if you miss your scene breaks the first go round, you will NOT be able to change it, and you will have to deal with a giant block of lines so sift through every time you want to work on a specific bit.
