I have been coaching collegiate volleyball for quite some time and I have always been looking for an easier way to keep stats. Many a late night has been spent after a contest trying to put together a official box score to give to the hosting teams AD, but since I found volleyball ace those days are over.

I am a small college coach and do not have a large staff of people to keep stats. Therefore, it is very important that I have a stat program that is easy enough for one person to use, yet powerful enough to generate the reports I need. This is that program! I have been using it since 2007 on a Palm handheld. When the iPad App became available I jumped on it. I love the larger screen and the changes from the previous version are very nice. Top-Notch product!
This is a long overdue review for this fabulous software. I was a long time user of the PocketPC version and finally migrated to iPad for our High School team. I am so glad that I decided to get this Volleyball Ace! Below are the major reasons why:
• easy to use
• fast
• shot charts help us adjustor defense on the fly
• the ability to compile multiple games for stats is awesome. We can identify opportunities for improvement based on start from a game, match, tournament, or several events over a longer period of time.
• Box Score gives a great overview for those "at a glance" stats that are helpful
• Ability to upload results and stats to Max Preps is a great timesaver. (Would love to see the same ability to upload to VarVee.)
• Developer was VERY helpful in working thru some startup glitches.
• the move from PocketPC to iPad was fabulous - much more snappy response, better graphics, easier to share data with the team!
• One-Click error analysis enables us to assess areas of concern while still tracking the game.
• the flexibility of configuration, including charting and rating is very awesome!

Excellent stat ware
Volleyball ace is the easiest volleyball stat program to use that is on the market. It easily imports into maxpreps. The interface is simple-one person can do your stats. I've been a user since the palm pilot days 3 years ago, then graduating to the iPod touch, and now the ipad2. I would recommend this product to any volleyball coach.Show lessWildcat volleyball
What a time saver!!
I downloaded this app After getting an iPad this summer, and it is a must for any high school coach!! It is very easy to use, and stats are available to you in game whenever you want them!! VBAce welcome to iPhone
I have been a user of the VB Ace stat program for several years now on my Pocket PC but have been waiting for the release of the software for iPhone since 2008. This stat program worked fantastic for the iPhone, much smoother than the Pocket PC version I used a few years back. I was able to take stats for our JV team after about 30min refresher. I am still getting the hang of charting serves and attacks at the same time as keeping stats but a few more practice matches and I should be good. The Analyzer software also helps you to pick which stats you want to view in a simple interface as well. Thank you to Gerrie for great customer service as well.Show lessredsand1313
Terrible
I have used VB ACE for several years on Palm device and was happy to see it as an Ipad app. After downloading, VB Ace has now disappeared from being an Ipad app only Iphone. Unable to download stats to game manager. Total waste of $90. Very disappointed with support and ability to sync Ipad stats with computer. Do not buy for Ipad. I phone app may be better but what is the point. I would like a larger screen than a palm or iphone and thought that what you were getting with Ipad app.Show lessjjrock1
iPad user- Great App!
I have been a long Volleyball ACE Software user begining in 2002 with a now old Palm Pilot. Finally the Palm had its last match and had to be retired. I hestiated to purchase an ipad but recently bought one to run a stat program. I searched for the Volleyball ACE Software but first found a FREE web based version and immediately downloaded it with the though of this has to be good. Well 15 minutes later it seemed to user unfriendly and difficult to even get setup to start a match.
I went back an found Volleyball ACE for the ipad and it is money well spent. The functionality is still present and easier to use with a larger screen. As a long time user of the software it still gives all the information I need in a match with the simple touch or TAP format.
This software has not let me down in 9 years and I hope to have it with me for the next decade.Show lessDavid Rehr
Helpful, easy and nice
I wrote a review previously that was only a 1 star. After speaking with volleyball ace several times, and figuring out the issues, I have changed my review to 4 stars. Their customer service was very helpful, easy to talk to and got back to me in a timely manner. I am still learning all the ins and outs of the app. I do recommend this product when taking stats for your volleyball team.Show lessJesika1976

I have this program on my laptop and I can say this is so easy to use on my iPhone I would say it's better than the laptop version because it's quicker to record data. I coach both at the high school and club level and I would suggest all coaches that take this sport serious get this.Barry Lago
