So slow!
Worst app ever! It’s takes an incredibly unreasonable amount of time for the camera to open on the app. By the time you hear a sound and open the app to look, it can EASILY be well over a minute before the camera finally opens. I do not recommend these cameras or the app.MsPeterbilt0379
10 years a d still working
The camera we have is very slow when turning and can be and I’m not happy with the allotted view time before it times itself out… However it has worked well while away in different countries to view our cats in the U.S. for the past 10 years and if it didn’t have a preset time out and turned around much faster or turning speed was adjustable, then it would get 10+ stars on a 5 star rating. Anyway we are pleased and do recommend D-Link cameras and apps.Show lessqqqqqqqqqqmmmmmmmuuuuuukkkkk
Recent updates rendered camera non-functional over WIFI
I’ve been using an older DCS-5020L camera as a security cam for years. Since the last two updates to MyDLink and MyDLink Lite, all I get are timeout errors; the camera still works when hardwired, but not over WIFI. Hardwiring is not a viable option for me beyond testing the camera. Nothing has changed at my end except the software updates, and no camera firmware updates have been issued in years, so the issue is with the app or DLink’s service. Not sure if it’s planned obsolescence or just gross incompetence, but the system no longer works, and it really doesn’t matter why; I have no choice but to find a product from another company that’s more reliable. Not going to spend money on a newer DLink camera knowing it might not work, either.Show lessCultureOfOne
Going Downhill
Overall, this app has been pretty good. However, the latest update has made it impossible for the landscape view to fill my entire screen. This feature used to work, but stopped with the last update. Can you please “restore” this feature back to us so that we can see up-close details in our feeds?MRGentille
Worked very well for the Legacy apps until iPhone IOS16 got released last week.
Worked very well for the Legacy apps until iPhone IOS16 got released last week. On the iPhone 12 when you turn the phone from portrait to landscape the picture displays as a small square picture. Dlink did and update about a week ago also when Apple did theirs. It works fine on an iPad but not the iPhones.Show lessLG
