Backwards
That's the way I tend to feel about this app with each update, sadly it seems less stable and lose altitude with the last two back ups.
Otherwise I'd give it a five, but when I changed back to one of my other apps it was so smooth in comparison :(, keep trying guys

Awesome new interface
I've had a drone for pretty much the whole time you could buy one. The original free flight app was great but was more difficult to use. When I downloaded this app after getting my drone repaired I was like wow. The controls are much nicer to use and the camera feed is better. Just a few problems. Can you guys put all the drone performance settings on the one page and scroll up and down. Also it doesn't tell me what the on/off switches are for. Well on my iPhone 4. I haven't tried on my iPad. After a bit of fiddling I worked it out though and now it works like a charm

Great toy
Awesome toy I'm such a big kid but it's hard to put down, it's not a good idea to practice in the lounge and I found out the hard way not to take off the altitude limit off with too many trees around it zoomed up about 30 meters in the air behind some trees and I lost control of it as it zoomed higher and further away from me I just managed to hit the emergency switch in time as it landed RIGHT next to the road what a relief now that was a rush lol..

Free flight AR Drone
I have used Free Flight for a couple of months now and it works perfectly. I use it on my IPad and have no difficulty controlling and flying the Drone. Awesome to take pictures from above, to do this you need to press the home and on/off button at the same time until you see a flash in the screen. (took me a while to find out).updating your Drone's firmware can take a while but never failed. I only wished that the battery live of the Drone could be as long as my iPad. It usually gets critical after 8 to 10 minutes at which time you don't want to be flying high. It sometimes starts with stuttering of the Drone.
If you want to fly with a bit of wind you need to adjust the angles in settings in order to be able to counter steer while flying. In default the settings are too much restricted.

Flew today twice
It is surprisingly easy to fly the AR Drone with this app.
Previously I had struggled with the developer version and all of the complications needed like iPhone Dev certificates, compiling etc and now, this is as simple as can be.
Download the app, sync your phone, iPod or iPad (still to do this) and go fly. It is really an amazing toy and I love best the way it hovers when you take your fingers off the controls.
I cant wait till the other developers start posting their games here.
