  • My "Personal Weather Station"

This is the weather app I've always wanted. It's fully customizable, looks great, is accurate, and has all of the weather data you could want. I recently showed the marine layout to an avid sailor, and he bought the app immediately.

If you're serious about the weather, don't hesitate to buy this app. It's worth the high price.

  • It's actually worth the price!

I was surprised to see so many people giving a 10-dollar weather app five stars, so I took a chance. After playing with it for just a few minutes, I know it's going to be my default weather app. This is what I've always wanted: all the info I want on one screen, that I can check in a few seconds.

The best part for me is the wind graph. I fly model aircraft, and need to check wind every morning. Before now, it meant reading hourly wind speeds on a terrible UI. This is perfect.

    Nice work, developer!

  • Closest to perfection....

This is the first version of this app I have purchased, so earlier ones must have had serious problems for the average to be only 2.5 stars. I have used a total of seven or eight apps -- currently this one, plus Weather Bug, TWC Max+, and the very specialized Bolt Meter. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, but I particularly like the versatility of display options and the predicted timeline detail on Seasonality Go. Altogether, it makes excellent use of the real estate of the iPad screen.

I would like to have given it 4.5 stars, but since that is not an option, it gets 4. To get 5 from me, any weather app must have a serious current conditions map, with isobars, highs/lows, fronts, etc. A couple of them have feeble versions, but nothing with the credibility of those on TWC website, for example, which remains my fallback. Very puzzling why no app has this info built-in, esp. TWC itself.

  • Great App! Almost perfect.

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend. He noted that he had used a large number of weather apps on his iPad and this was by far the best. i agree with him. It gives full data and customization. My only complaint is that it is hard to figure out how to save locations other than your current location. Once you get the hang of that, which requires locating the point on a map, the rest is easy. The green color is a bit offputting, but I can live with that.

  • Great for Weather Geeks

I love this app just for the volume of raw weather data. Having the ability to customize the display is icing on the cake. Being a navigator for a racing sailboat I really love having the raw data to look at. I can't wait to see where this app goes. You've got my ten bucks, bring on the improvements.

My only request is a graph for the wind direction. Hence, my rating of four stars.

  • Good stuff!

Bit the bullet yesterday morning. Took me a little while to get over the price....very glad I did. I have used Crash Channel Max...oops I meant Weather Channel Max...but the crashing and the very obnoxious adds turned me off. Had also used Weatherbug....which worked great....but was just a little boring.

After exchanging some posts with the Seasonality dev on MacRumors and seeing his responsiveness and commitment to the quality of the app I decided to pull the trigger.

Still playing with all the options, but the customization, flexibility and amount of different data available are really cool features to me. Definitely worth the price in my book.

Only thing I would suggest as a possible change....let us change the color scheme.....not a real fan of the baby-poop green color.

  • Love this App - My Favorite Weather App

I like the presentation of the weather information, the ability to customize to show what you want to see in the form you prefer. I also like being able to track the past weather as well as future forecasts. I had occasion to contact vendor with question about how to read precipitation data and received very timely and helpful information. I couldn't be more pleased with this app.

  • Almost as good as the Mac version

This version now has the ability to drag and organize favorites so here's my 5 stars.

Still notice lags in data update, even over fast wi-fi which can cause the user to think the screen didn't update, which will show wrong data for the new location when loaded from favorites, and then the data updates but often you are not moved to the favorite's location.

I've bought almost all of the weather apps for the iPad and this to me has the better offerings overall. Give these guys a couple more updates and it will be where I expect it to be. Yes, there's a bunch going on within this program. It will gel if they show it the attention they've shown the Mac product.

    ______________

I've used this on the Mac for years. Would give 5 stars if it allowed dragging favorites for sorting as you can in the Mac version.

  • Outstanding Weather Application

I'm not sure if I am more of a "weather geek" or an Apple geek. I have several Apple computers and an iPhone and iPad. On both the phone and the iPad I have many weather apps but none compares with Seasonality Go on my iPad. The many charts and options to view weather trends cannot be found on any other weather app I have. If all you want is a quick snapshot of what is currently happening and forecast, you need not invest the money. If however, you want more details, etc. this is the application you want. I highly recommend it.

  • Outstanding app

This is by far the best looking weather application on the iPad. While some other weather apps may have more features, e.g. broadcast video, etc, this is the most useable, most beautifully presented app for just finding what you need - where the storms are, what the temperature is, if rain is expected, etc. Along with giving the basics you can customize the layout through insanely simple controls - shrink and stretch blocks to make them fit as you want, remove them entirely or add some more, it's a brilliant iPad app that everyone should have.
