Reviews of eProjector

  • Please update for iOS 8!

I love this app it's perfect for my work as an audiobook narrator but it no longer works now that I updated to iOS 8. Please update ASAP!
  • Great App, awful instructions

This App works exactly as promised, ONCE you figure out the instructions found in the PDF File. The interface is confusing, so you will definitely need to read the included PDF Manual (of sorts!).

Once you have figured it out, it is very easy to advance or retreat the slides in a PDF file (I always convert my Powerpoints into PDF format anyway).

You set up the iPad to be the "Presenter" and the iPhone to control the presentation as it appears on the iPad. There is NO lag whatsoever between the two devices.

It also has a handy little laser pointer that you control from the iPhone.

The instructions were obviously written by someone who's native tongues is NOT English.
  • I am amazed!

I bought this app on a whim, thinking it just might meet my need, having looked for something like this since I got my iPad.

I was not prepared for how simple and intuitive it was to setup without even reading the included instruction guide. It worked flawlessly. $2.99 was a bargain!

Note: It currently only display PDF formatted presentations, but I can easily render my PowerPoint and Keynote presentations to PDF if needed to use this app. It would be great if it could run those other formats without any conversion, but I'm not complaining. Also, the next challenge is getting your PDF to your iPad or IPhone. If your don't have iDisk or WebDEV then you will likely want to email the file to yourself. I hope other cloud servers such as DropBox might be added in the future.

Your iPhone and iPad can have independent page transition effects.
