I used to believe
Not honest, developers please clarify how soon this app updates. I took screenshots of hurricane Helene since 5:41 till 11:24 and the cloud formations remained the same. Not very nice since this is being advertised as a weather app? And they also state the app updates every 3 hours. Should I laugh? I don’t see the punchline I can get the latest images online. Just a pretty space-taking app because it does look nice the presentation and it’s a nice concept seeing how the earth looks from above with the “latest cloud formations” but the concept is not really being applied on here at least on time. And I don’t mind having a cool app even if I don’t have enough space as long as I don’t feel I’ve been had all this time. Down the chute it goes.Show lessIminstewart

:)I have used this app since 2011 … I think. I know it’s been for a super long time. It’s fantastic. I love adding cities when my b/f is out of town so I know what time it is where he is when I call him. I add cities that I’ll be visiting so I can can see weather. I use it for local weather and I can see where storms are further out so I know when big storm systems will be headed my direction. I’m m not wearing my glasses so I’m sure that there’s typos in this post, but hopefully you get the message. Best alarm/wearer app out there. I’ve tried others that people have recommended but I always come back. Try it. You will too.Show lessSpacekitten1
Weather Globe
I’ve had this app for about 10 years.
It’s been extremely accurate and useful in my travels and making plans. Love the spinning earth that moves around.
Better than other weather apps because of this globe feature.
I’m more interested in weather conditions in general, and sometimes I will just look at other locations just for fun!Show lessD. J.
Most useful interesting weather app
I really use this app on a daily basis to monitor the temperature and weather conditions where I live and where my friends and family live. It’s graphical depictions of the weather across the Earth are fascinating and very useful. Like holding the whole world
…in the palm of your handmy location list a lot. But it’s a great overview of the worlds weather at a glance, combined with the local weather and forecasts out to almost a week ahead. I also use it to check the times at locations. I am an International Captain for a major US airline but sometimes I just enjoy expanding the earth and spinning it in my hand.Show lesstfsvhhvfr
REALLY GREAT, BUT…
This is without a doubt one of the greatest apps written for the iPhone and it has been around for a long time, which is a testament to its continuing beauty and utility. Its updated satellite imagery and weather information is truly outstanding. Of all of the non-native iPhone applications, I would say this is the best and the most elegant.
Having said that, it recently developed a glitch whereby the cloud pattern views and other views that are available ceased to function for about half a day for reasons still unknown, making it look like the kind of globe that your kid has in his bedroom.
The problem eventually corrected itself it is now back to full functionality. But the fact that the glitch arose is still disturbing.Show lessEl Griff

I have friends and family spread out all over the world. It's so nice to see at a glance what time/day it is there, as well as what the weather is. It's so simple and intuitive. I use it several times a day, and I really love it! I haven't seen any other apps that come close to this in beauty or accuracy, either. Now I'm completely attached to it.

Beautiful looking app.
Has been my go to weather reference on the main screen of my iPhone for a number of years now. All other such apps have been relegated to a WEATHER folder way back on the third screen.
BUT in recent months I have noticed that the forecasts have been significantly different from what was predicted on local Tv stations. So I started comparing it against the forecasts on THE WEATHER CHANNEL app. Those matched the local Tv station predictions, which again was a stark contrast to this app.
I travel extensively for my work to major cities all over US and Europe. And I have been checking up on this everywhere I go. Pretty much the same disappointing result. I do not know where this app gets its data from, but I simply cannot not trust it anymore. Could be a cost cutting measure

It has got everything I need to know. It’s clear and easy to use. It just makes me feel a bit warm feeling to think that an app that I have purchased so long ago is still updating new features and still being useful.
The app itself is beautifully made, I find peace in watching the earth slowly turns when I check the weather. And it almost never crashes. A great app. Probably the best the most easy to use weather app out there.Show lesskfughreiuhwerigh
