Great game but costs.
I loved this game as a kid. I was happy to find a simple, enjoyable version for my phone. I read the other reviews and saw I would be charged. Yes, they should be upfront about it, but I didn't mind paying. I wish there was a way to delete previous saved games though.

Really capture the original game quite well and really good to play, love the turbo feature. Would be cool to get the sounds in there.

I downloaded this game without reading the reviews. Obviously a mistake as like the other reviews, I received the request after a few minutes gameplay. Best not deceive like that, so delete it is!

Yeah, as addictive as i remember.. I got all misty-eyed and paid the 1.99 after playing for a few minutes. Pricey, especially for such a simple game (code is available online) but enjoyed reminiscing and play it from time to time.
....now you want me to pay another 1.99 to unlock a second device? That's just mean! I'm stealing your arms, silk, and general cargo.... And if you want your opium... it's.. er.. gone. I'm sinking this game. 1 star.

Not free
Not free like it says, 5 mins in and it tells you that you must pay £1.99. If I wanted to pay I would get a decent version, very lazy developer

Crap
I loved this game as a kid. This version is Ok but not free. I hate these free but not actually free apps. I was asked to upgrade after 5 mins game time (1 yr in the game). No thanks. Delete.

But be honest about the charge to upgrade, would make it nicer for those who downloaded it as it's not a nice way to surprise people with the fee.
People don't mind paying a few bucks for something they want, but surprising people isn't good form
Apart from that, nice to be able to play it again.
Next I just need a perfect port of The Bards Tale 1 and I'll be happy
