This app used to be decent, but now it’s riddled with ads. As previous reviews have noted, it’s almost impossible to get through a paragraph without full-screen ads popping up, and it’s often with dizzying frequency. In many cases, the full article doesn’t even load before the pop-ups invade your screen.
I understand and appreciate that newspaper media is really hard these days from a revenue perspective, but there’s got to be some limit between acceptable and downright unbearable. As a PAYING subscriber (print and digital) I find this unsavory and unacceptable. Treat your existing customers better and maybe you’ll keep them as revenue, but you’re cannibalizing yourself at this rate.
