Reviews of WBEZ

  • Great app, but I wish that content was searchable and indexed by show.

The app functions well and I enjoy having access to radio everywhere. I wish that shows other than station-specific podcasts were also listed with associated shows/episodes indexed in order. Also, it would be helpful to provide a search function to look up content by title/key word.
  • Newest release is very buggy

The newest release is very buggy when listening to anything other than the current live stream. It often takes multiple taps on prior shows in order to get them to begin playback. Playback often ends mid-show and starts playing a (seemingly random) earlier program, most commonly when the livestream starts playing a new program (i.e., at the top of the hour).
  • “Radio Schedule” listening doesn’t work, and couldn’t report it

I’ve had this app for a few years, and been pretty happy with it, and I used to go to the radio schedule option to catch up on something I missed. For a while now, that “button” hasn’t worked. I tried using the “report a problem” link in the App Store, which redirected me to the website, but the form didn’t go through. I’ll try again later.

Thankfully, I can go to the schedule on the website and listen there, but it’s not as convenient.
