New and improved
Theyโve mad some amazing improvements to the look and functionality of the app. Just wish I could stay signed in longer without have to re-input my info every time.
Great app outside one flaw
I need this app so I have downloaded it, but I have noticed that each time I use the app I must log in. I am a bit disappointed in this small issue. But, I like the app in general and agree with others about the GUI Interface.
Not great
The new changes to the app forces you to login in multiple time in just one use. It redirects you a lot.
Have to sign in for anything you click on really frustrating not a convenience of an app
Easier just to sign in on a regular computer have to sign in every time you click somewhere is a big inconvenience. Once signed in you should have the option to stay signed in for everything if youโre rating cannot be a zero then that is not a fair rating.
Recent update
New updates make this app more time consuming than going through your browser on your phone.
Worked Great and now awful with update
The old app worked great on my iPad Pro and now the entire keyboard doesnโt show and I canโt rotate the screen from vertical. Changed a working system
Incredibly Improved
Proud of the team at IU for listening to user feedback and creating this easy-to-use app interface. The campus illustrations are beautiful as well. Really brings a level of personalization I felt like wasnโt apparent in the older version.
this continues NOT to be an iOS app.
Version after version, the IU Mobile app continues to disappoint. Whoever is deciding about how this app should be made, please consult with an app development professional.
Vice versa, if you're not going to write a native app, just withdraw this from the store, give the task to someone who can rewrite it as a native iOS app, and only then re-publish it on the App Store.
This is not a native iOS app. It's a web view wrapped in an app starter, with all the disadvantages of both approaches:
1. the GUI needs to be loaded from the network every time, making it slow and unresponsive.
2. each view is completely unrelated and differently designed: there's no consistency at all.
3. the app won't save your username/password, so that you have to type them in every time you use it.
4. several web views have NO mobile implementation. Those are truly unusable on mobile devices, no matter how they're wrapped in a web viewer app.
If one of the students taking my "Mobile App Development" course at IU wrote this app as their final project, they would fail the course. Not kidding.

Buggy & Slow
1. I wish that there was a way to store the passphrase as it is annoying to have to type again and again.
2. The feature that I use the most (re: multiple times a day) is the umail--and it does not work. The home screen will load, but the "loading" icon remains and will not go away---and you can not click on anything while it's there. I end up closing and re-opening the app multiple times before it works as intended.
3. Would give less than one star if I could.

App works really well, but one request!
This app packs in all of the pages and information that I need. It had been such a helpful tool for taking care of the details before my first semester in grad school. My only request would be for an option to save the passphrase or to use my fingerprint to log in.
