Finally a versatile app!
I have had so much trouble finding a chore app that’s versatile enough for my very big family! This one is great and simple to figure out. It would be great if there was a money reward feature in addition to the stars, because I set different amounts for different jobs my kids do, so the stars only work for the ones I don’t pay them for (you can set rewards based on the number of stars, but I don’t want their unpaid jobs (like have a bath) to contribute to their paid ones, I’d rather keep them separate.) Good to keep track of chores
I have a 4 year old and 8 year old and I’ve been “beta testing” chore pad. The kids need to see the chores getting checked off and their stars accumulating so I did just that - I put jars for them to accumulate stars and we have a list of chores on the fridge with the Star value along with rewards. My 4 year old loves it. My 8 year old is strong willed enough where he’s still fighting it. But it’s helping me to stay organized and consistent and that’s what the kids need. If I were to change or add anything, I would make it so the app is linked so everyone with a device can see. Then I can eliminate a physical chart.Show lessHealsgoodman

The kids loved the idea of this app. The only problem is that I did not like using Dropbox as the syncing tool. I could never get it to work, so I just changed apps.Akdgreen
Easy to use and my kid loves it
Easy to get started and there is a simple tutorial on how it works built in which I appreciated.
My 5 year old loves to check things off to earn his stars. It’s a great way to help reinforce good behavior.
We haven’t used the syncing feature so can’t comment on that. Seems like it might need a Dropbox account to do it so you may want to find out more if that’s an important feature for you.Show lessMiss Am@nda
It works well but.....
It works very well but I would like to be able to put the chores in a specific order without starting all over.pamum1953
None of feature works
The star won’t add up it’s always stays at 0. I can’t add imagines to each chore list. It only runs the very basic, it lets my kids check of chores but that’s it. I tried emailing but app just kicks me out.NAncas
Love it
My 4 and 7 year old love getting stars and seeing clear expectations for the day. I like that I can sync the app with my phone. It's really easy to use and set up. My one wish for the app is that you could exchange stars for virtual items (like a robot or accessories for an avatar). Their reading app does this and they get very excited about "shopping" for new items. We don't do allowance or really want to get into paying for chores do this would be a really nice option. They love the trophies feature on this app. Overall, this app is worth every penny.Show lessMariposaMomma
Loving So Far but One Request!
We are SMITTEN with this app! My only issue is that the points are not the same across the three kids. I have checked on my end and synced several times and unfortunately it is not working. Any help is appreciated!brittanilouise
Cool App!
I’m not gonna lie! I don’t have kids! :) I’ve searched and researched for an app like this! I’m big on a to do list and getting ‘rewarded’ for healthy habits and doing things to keep our house running smoothly. My rewards are usually books, a day away by myself with no responsibilities or manicures and pedicures. I’m a numbers girl so this app works very well for my brain! Horrible workflow and onboarding
Too many issues to list them all here.
You can't create an account and sync across devices without Dropbox (apparently you can't even do that - I installed it on my iPad and iPhone but there's no way to sync across devices). Can't install on your kid's device so they can access the list of chores.
Can't skip the welcome tour.
Can't do multi actions at once.
This app feels like it was designed for kids more than for parents to a set up.
