My son hustles to do his chores independently. No more nagging, no more "I forgot". If he forgets a task and I have to do it, I subtract a star. If he does it all on his own then bonus stars. He loves the app too!cvflyer
Wouldn't change a thing!!
I've never seen my kids so eager to do their chores, and it's just to earn their stars!! Paper charts have never worked for me.. but this app does the trick. It takes a little while to sit down and plan out which child does what, how much each chore is worth and etc.. but it's worth it, so be patient!! ;) I absolutely love the payout system. It makes it fun for them to be able to spend or save their stars, and easy for me to choose what kind of rewards they can get, and it doesn't always have to be money!! An example of our rewards are a movie night, candy bar of choice, $2 reward of choice, stay up half hour past bed time, $5 reward of choice, and so on. The bigger the reward, the more stars it costs, of course.. and the lowest reward takes them at least 3 days worth of stars to save up for. They only get to cash out once a week, so it gives them incentive to keep saving for the big stuff. They get so excited when they get trophies, and the noise it makes when they reach a certain amount of stars. We choose to go through our chore list and check off what they did that day right before bed every night. I wouldn't change a thing about this app, and I'm hoping to use it for a long time. Love love love this app! Super easy to use, and really cleverly done in terms of configuration, customization, chore assignment etc. We are even running an older version on our re-purposes iPad, and it works a treat! Keep up the great workMisterRider
Great app
This app is great, a little basis though. I wish you could correct mistakes like applying a reward can't be reverse if you make a mistake. Moreover the sync feature btw device is not well implemented, my wife reward the kids on her device but it doesn't show on my device unless I quit the app on her iPhone or go and sync manually despite the auto sync feature on.Show lessDaniel Morin

This is a delightful app! The Nannek team is responsive both to support requests and to feature suggestions. Each feature is well thought and out colourfully implemented. There is no substitute for parental love and attention, but Chore Pad app is a helpful tool. Great motivational app
I use this partly as a reward chart - the children (ages 5 and 7) helped decide what their "chores" should be (we've also included good behaviour aims e.g. Being kind to your brother), so it's a real plus that these can be personalised. We also decided together how often we should be assessing these and how many stars they get, as well as the rewards. I only have to mention "ooh, doesn't look like you'll be getting a star today for this one" and their behaviour changes. Well, not always, but they are kids.... 😁Show lessFordybee
