For those who just want to play the uke for its sheer smile power, this is an indispensable app. Find a song, dial up the unfamiliar chords and you're off. Before long, you won't even need a chord finder. And since it plays chords for you, it makes a nice little composing tool--for those times when your uke isn't handy. Like in airplanes. Or in jail.

This app has quickly replaced all my chord books.
Basichords missin basic chords?
Am I missing something, or are there no diminished triads? I find that to be a pretty glaring omission, as that's an essential part of a diatonic chord progression. I have to leave what's otherwise my favorite guitar chord app, and open up another one to see diminished triad chords. It would be pretty awesome if this were addressed, or if I'm wrong, and I'm simply overlooking the obvious, feel free to let me know. Thanks.

Loved this app. Recently updated to ios5 and now won't open. Will rate back to a 5 once this gets fixed.

My 3rd graders are learning ukulele in music class and this app is great for them. Instead of continually asking me for the chord position, they can look it themselves. It's very easy to use and required very little instruction from me... They figured it out all on their own!

It's now completely useless. Please fix.
iOS5 Fix is on the way
I just took up the ukelele and find this a very helpful app. I contacted the developer about the iOS 5 crash problem and within an hour he had submitted a fix. As soon as Apple approves the change, it should be back up and running.
