What the point of this app anyway? So it makes shrill sounds based on the movement of the gyroscope. To call that music is a stretch. Think nails on a chalkboard.DXF

Absolute Fun For The Whole Family
I have always wanted to have my own theremin! So much fun! This is what having the gyro's in the iphone 4 is all about. A must have app. Great for Halloween! Woooeeeoooo!

What's the key?
Not bad as an interface - plays nicely but it's just a toy unless it gets selectable key, tempo gate + rhythm / loop backtrack midi save with controller data - good sound through the stereothe shaky camera man
Functionality
This app is great. The first thing I did was plug it into a recording program and used it for a lead solo. My issue is it is limited to one key per scale. For fun it's really cool. For practical use as an instrument maybe a key change option? And always more sounds :)CoryFischer
Fun but only ok
If I could load my own samples and there were options for stutter edits and other effects, this would be an awesome app. It's neither as cool or as bad as anyone has rated so far. More or less does what it says but I'd probably not buy it if I had the choice to make again.RGPATX
truly amazing instrument!
I'm a guitarist and this is possibly the coolest iPhone app I've yet seen. you control pitch, volume and modulation via the phone's position in space. it's incredibly precise and with practice you can even play arpeggios and other non-adjacent pitches.
you change choose a chromatic or major scale, but the pentatonics and other scales allow anyone to play surprisingly musical lines.
the default oscillator setting of "vocal" yields a patch very reminiscent of Michael Brecker's EWI playing in the late 80s.

This is a really grat app, of course. it could do with at least another feature.
an easy feature to put in would be to customise scales. you could do this by choosing the notes on an on screen piano that you want in the scale. then you could play whatever tunes you like.Aquar.
