% like a standard calculator!
About the only app that presents a % result the same way a basic desktop one does! For ease, consistency and expected results, as per a basic calculator, this is the only app I found that does it. Yes, you can just do a simple divide to get a % but this replicates the usual Canon and, I think, Casio way. Just wish the rounding would be continuously set not hitting the round button each time.Show lessAussieActive

I always wanted a calculator right in my notes so I don't have to switch between apps. This does the trick for me. The great thing is everything is recorded right in the notes all you have to do is edit in your comments. No copy,paste here just go to your note and everything put in the calculator is there.
Would love to have a way to record units automatically from calculator to notes,maybe in future updates. This is worth every penny as is. Love itShow lesscharleslon

Very good App. Particularly like the RPN facility and the incorporated constants. I would like it though, if the key-click sound wasn't delayed slightly from the actual key press.IvorThorne

The calculator is well designed and very practical. The background theme though needs to be improved and I recommend that a patch be included to enable more colour choices as the current choices make reading of the keys somewhat difficult to identify quickly.
Apart from this minor handicap the application is of a very hi standard.

Good scientific calculator
So I'm looking for a good scientific calculator. It's amazing how difficult it is to find an app that just does the job (you can pick up a real scientific calculator for a fiver). So far, this is as close as I've gotten and has pride of place on my iPhone's first page.

Financial as a "hey, why don't we chuck in some financial stuff"
I bought this app after being drawn in by the financial functions it contains. Present value, loans etc, all ok.
BUT
In essence this is actually an engineering or scientific calculator with a bit of financial stuff tacked on.
Here's what would be good.
Have an option to ditch the scientific stuff and get bigger buttons etc.
Statistical suite including some basic functions like mean, ranges, standard deviation etc. have a look at the HP71c
Conversion that maybe preloads foreign exchange data to do currency conversions.Show lessBig Trev from Perth
