Best Of the Best
Really enjoy my subscription to the Telegraph. It is great to get news from home, and to keep up to date in a reliable and intelligent way. Love all the content and features and look forward to reading every day. I enjoy the sports coverage immensely. I can recommend this app and its content. It is worth the subscription price.

Long established Customer
I have been a telegraph reader almost my entire adult life and a subscriber for years, firstly with the paper itself and for more than a decade with the digital version. I particularly like the fact that wherever I am in the world I can get an up to date copy of my chosen newspaper to read on my tablet when I choose.
What I don’t like is that sometimes an “ upgrade/ improvement“ is forced upon me. A recent example is the new puzzles section, which is both inconvenient and a blatant attempt to obtain more money from subscribers. I used to like the fact that crossword puzzles were automatically downloaded with the rest of the paper so that they were always available should I have some spare time in the day. It is infuriating now that they are not there when you have that unexpected free moment and you are not able to access the crossword. This is not an upgrade to me and might make me reconsider my future subscribing.

An Australian view
Excellent summary of UK and world news. Keeps me up to date with important events, and the occasional obituary, although the WW2 generation are almost gone. Quicker to report on US events than the WSJ or Washington Post.
Driving Subscribers Away
Since the latest update, the puzzles section of the Telegraph app has consistently malfunctioned on my new (and older) iPad mini, as well as on my iPhone. I have deleted and re-installed the app. I have logged out, deleted the app and re-installed it, and then logged in again. No change. Indeed, on occasion, the same thing happens when reading the electronic version of the newspaper; when clicking on a story, a blank screen opens. The app then needs to be re-started afresh to clear the screen back to the front page. Further, when reading the electronic version of the paper, when I put it down, returning to the paper later, the app randomly skips from the page I was on to another random page somewhere in the middle. All in all, the app is riddled with bugs and increasingly not fit for purpose. I have been a reader and subscriber for a long time (near 40 years), both in print and electronically. This iteration of the app, combined with the Puzzles app which is totally unusable, is increasingly likely the straw that breaks the camel’s back and drives me to one of your competitors.

Glad now Apple News+
Cause the previous $35/month brutal to just lick Trump, inc. Their culture, & some opinion is top notch, but do read, but mostly skim the extreme right-wing B.S.
Thanks for sharing your news!
I love this news app!!
Highly informative and thorough.
I find the Telegraph to be an excellent and informative read.
It keeps those of us from elsewhere very well informed and up to date on the goings on in the UK.
As well, the news, articles and features from around the world are excellent.
I highly recommend having the Telegraph be part of your source of information.

Adverts bomardment
I used to like the Telegraph app, but lately I am bombarded with adverts on every page I open?
Cannot escape advertising
Am partway through taking up a wonderful offer for a few months, to my knowledge and discussion with an agent earlier – this is a full subscription package albeit discounted momentarily.
This begged the question as to why I still see advertising, and quite prominently, whilst reading any particular article I select.
I was under the impression that one would expect to have advertising pushed in front of them if just going on a free app version of anything like this, but when a subscription package is undertaken, surely one of the reasons for doing is to simply escape the advertising in order to have a far more pleasurable reading experience.
When on a phone as indeed I do most of my news updating, the adverts I see Cover between a third and half of my phone screen, only to read down the article and come across yet another advert of the same size.
I will continue with this offer as it is too good to miss, but if this is not sorted by the time I come to pay for subscription, then I simply will not renew as this is not my idea of a paid digital newspaper subscription.
It has to be remembered if you're reading a newspaper and adverts are there they are rarely placed within an article, they are either side of it. However in a digital format it is placed in between the article paragraphs, and very offputting and defeats the objective of a subscription, from my point of view at least.

Massive ad that follows above and beneath the text cuts off chunks of the articles
As mentioned in the title, there’s a massive ad that follows above and beneath the text as you scroll down and cuts off chunks of every article. You can literally see half of a sentence cutoff horizontally through the middle of the letters. At one point I scrolled down and half an article disappeared and the advertising was staring me in the face.
