love the national football league fantastic can u change the app logo to put your favourite team instead of the nfl like they do with mlb and nhl apps that would be a great idea please think about it
App integrity is terrible
This is one of the only ways to legally stream nfl games online without piracy, and from my experience using this app, it needs a major overhaul. The payment plan for NFL + constantly fails and doesn’t recognize when you purchase a plan anymore, so now you cannot watch your favorite team live except for on the Redzone, where you have to watch every other team and your team instead just your preferred team. The app seems to enter a soft locked state when trying to watch a game live with NFL + because after the purchase of a plan, and trying to watch the game on a live stream, it will not take you to the game like it should, and instead locks you out of seeing the game and back to the login screen where you have to enter all your information again, and this cycle will repeat indefinitely, which is infuriating because this is a very common occurrence. This issue has persisted for about the last 5 weeks of the NFL season, and it has only become more infuriating. I will remove my review after the nfl takes a much more serious and thorough examination at the app, and fixes its many flaws and issues, so that the app can provide what it says on the App Store, the best quality viewing experience for your personal nfl team.

Annoying and greedy
The fact the the NFL is a multibillion dollar industry with unlimited resources and actual million dollar contracts, and they don’t allow simple CASTING from the app on your phone to your TV is insane. I PAY for this streaming app just to stream a single game a week for a single team and yall are so selfish and money grabbing, that you can’t allow your PAYING USERS the ability to watch from the comfortability of their own TV. The NFL app needs to either expand their platform base and allow you to download the app on your smart TV, OR they need to allow casting. This ruins my day every Sunday, the NFL PR team needs to do better. So embarrassing having to hunch around my phone just to watch the game, lonely with my headphones on, bc I can’t get the game on my TV and I’d rather not sit in a bar. Considering deleting this app and canceling my subscription for ESPN, at this rate it would be cheaper to spend the $11 a month and be able to WATCH IT ON MY TV, than spending 2 separate $7 payments for different apps just to watch a single game a week. So embarrassing, don’t get this app or subscription if you like to watch the game in comfortability, or if you like buying things that are worth your money.

Don’t bother
This app used to be great. Now, the entirety of customer service is either email based or phone center. (Chat would have been very beneficial for live trouble shooting) If you choose to call, you’ll be lucky to speak to a human. They reroute you back to the original menu because the recording says “your problem can be solved by searching this article on the website- goodbye”. If it’s email customer service center- good luck. All the responses are scripted. They don’t actually listen to your specific issue- even with photos- and when you finally start to show frustration, they stop replying to emails all together. You also can’t cast/mirror, or use the app on your Xbox to watch the games without a TV provider (more $$). Just stream on your phone or tablet. Minimal communication as to what each package actually does, and then finding out it doesn’t support the platforms it claims to once enrolled. I wish my issues had been addressed, or there were answers to my questions about upgrading for more content. I would’ve considered keeping the app/subscription. But after a week or two of back and forth with no resolution, kept getting it passed to the next “representative”, and then radio silence regardless of how many emails I sent- that’s enough for me if customer service is severely lacking.

Broken but hardly any content
The app has been completely broken for a while now, doesn’t refresh just displays ‘something went wrong’ on the news page.. maybe not many people use the app to look at the news page and only use it to check scores, which you can’t do if you accidentally click on news unless you kill the app first. Unless you only want to get information from videos with ads it’s a bit pointless anyway, for a while now readable content has been lacking and getting less and less. Really poor effort

Greed at its Finest.
Purchased the premium NFL app. Figured okay yea I should be able to just smart cast it to my tv. Nope. NFL restricts that ability, even if you have the app downloaded on to a tv it runs horribly slow can’t even load a single page. The app is beyond slow especially on mobile even on wifi. It always amazes me how the NFL makes BILLIONS and yet somehow has to scrape as much money out of the customer base they do have. If you pay for the premium, you should be allowed to stream it to whatever screen you want period. It’s practically a scam with how as soon as you want a game on it says sign in with a tv provider, so they expect you to pay full price for NFL premium AND full price for a cable provider just to watch a local game. The setup on the app is nice however which is why it’s even more frustrating that it’s this hard to attempt to watch your favorite team play. Need Paramount, you need Sunday ticket, or you need ESPN. It’s just beyond ridiculous. It needs to be explicitly stated the things you can’t do versus the things you can do PRIOR to getting the subscription, there’s much more things you CANT do then do so honestly just use a streaming site as the NFL doesn’t deserve your money.

Unable to use app
Haven’t been able to use this app. Every time I try to open it, it keeps saying “connection interrupted, signal fumbled”
News not working
This was a really useful way of keeping up with NFL news until the start of the current season. Since then the news section doesn’t work. It reports that the connection has been fumbled.
The rest of the app works fine. Though it would be better with better integration with the international GamePass.

Broken…
Very disappointed with the newest update. The News section doesn’t work at all ,I always get an error message. I decided to switch to the ESPN app. NFL needs to fix this big time!
No News
The news page has bigger/crashed with the new update and now doesn’t load.
You can only find specific team related news on their page.
Opens up onto Game Pass page which is just irritating, I understand they want to push a product but if you already subscribe to that product, does it need to?
It’s been quite a bit since the update and there have been no comms about this app, which is poor for such a big enterprise and shows lack of engagement with fans on these issues.
