Terrible App

Has so many bugs. You can’t even browse your nas drive after 30 minutes of work you can’t even browse.

Not functional, not supported by Buffalo

Does not backup iPhones photos despite advertising claims to contrary.

Half hour with Don in Buffalo tech support, says software is not supported. Contact someone called Melco in Japan. Not their problem, says Buffalo just sells us their hardware (but box says “WebAccess Personal Cloud” as first/Top feature). Don’t buy Buffalo.

Unable to upload successfully

While you can view files on the drive easily from your mobile the app does not seem to be very reliable when copying photos to the drive. It’s very hit and miss would be also nice to see the progress of the files being copied as there is no visibility and you can’t see how long or if it even doing it.

Works great

Works as advertised on my iPhone 7, running iOS 11.3. Wish there was the ability to sort file list.

Does not work, needs update.

Terrible looks got but doesn’t work, so many people have the problem no real way to contact anyone about it.

Not all I had hoped

Works great with my audiobooks but I am unable to watch my movies as they are avi files and this was the main reason I got it. is there a fix for this anyone?

App Need Update

At this point, April 2018, the Buffalo app has not been updated in quite awhile. It no longer streams well on iOS 11.3. In fact, I have given up and I now use VLC mobile.

Can view but not upload

It’s great for accessing the nas drive to view your files but it cannot cope with trying to upload pictures etc, it just crashes after timing out. Fix please.

Lovely idea, but it just doesn't work

I don't know if it's just me but this app simply doesn't work. I have a NAS address and password, I can use them from safari, but the sand details in the app won't create a valid connection. Just as well it was free I suppose ☹️

It's OK For Simple Tasks

The app works well for viewing pictures and streaming video from the NAS drive. You have to make sure your video is one of the formats supported by Buffalo. I have not used the upload function. Also have not be able to figure out how to access a folder that has restricted users mainly because Buffalo insturctions for the NAS are so complex.
