Works!

One of the better remote access apps. It does require the device, but you can connect to multiple NAS devices. Slide show and photos work really well.

Just crashes

Latest Update Doesn't even load on iPhone or iPad just crashes....

Excellent

Needs to support other file types like avi

Latest version won't even load..:(

Latest version April 2012, won't even load on my 4S, ios5

App will not load

App will not load after latest update. Very disappointing !!!! Who does QA??

Synology is better

I'm have Synology and Buffalo, and Synology is simply better than Buffalo.

Buffalo needs to benchmark Synology. Especially how they separated their Apps for different contents, manage buffer memory and cache for seamless playing, design interface for iPhones and iPads.

Pretty cool

Works great pulling everything to my phone. I did have a challenge getting thru my firewall, but Buffalo had the process posted in their forum. I'm not certain how often I'll use it, but I now have mobile access to my content. Very cool.

Excellent

Really good useful app for accessing buffalo nas drive remotely, but bit tricky to setup. Have to setup web access on nas drive first and then setup this app to get this to work. Also upgraded firmware on nas but not sure if this was needed.

Reliable access but video doesn't have sound

This accesses my files very reliably on my 1Tb unit. It also views photos quit well after a few seconds lag for each 5MB image, which isn't too bad. The video streaming works well with iPhone .mov file except there's no sound! It also doesn't support Sony's video format. Solve these problems and it would have 5 stars.

Nice idea but needs to do more

Had to settle for this app to access my Linkstation Live because Buffalo don't/won't support third party apps like Airplayer or PlugPlayer.

In principle this is a good way to get to files remotely. In practice it's very slow to load photos, even in a small format, and though it will play / shuffle an individual music folder there's no way to shuffle an entire music collection unless you put the whole lot in a single folder. it also doesn't show artwork which is a shame.

Hope to see some improvements and better features in updates soon, because at the mo I wish I'd bought a different NAS drive, one that I could access with Airplayer!
