The app crashes every time I enter the nas's name... Will not function at all...Ohhh_him
Please add these functions
1. Let us save video files from the NAS to our Camera Roll so we can use them in other apps like iMovie.
2. Let us export files to other apps via the Open-In function.
3. Let us import files from other apps into the Webaccess app via the Open-In function, so we can then upload them to the NAS for back-up.
4. Let us upload iTunes music to the NAS.
The above are important and essential features still missing in Webaccess. All major file manager apps have these. Without them Webaccess is a big joke...a useless app, which makes your NAS a crippled accessory.Show lessmusiquenthusiast
Useful app, one request
The app is very useful and easy to setup. I use it daily. Having the option to upload files other than pictures would only make it better. Please...?cm@c
Be good if if would work with HTTPS/SSL
This app would be great if you could use it to stream music and videos when your web access to the Buffalo NAS device is HTTPS. Who in there right mind would not have their NAS connected to the outside world just using just HTTP. Come on and give us this ability.DJlegin
No sound on video
This app would be awesome if the sound would work on video. Doesn't work on either streaming or downloading video. If they fixed this it would be a five star app, get it together buffalo.Mikecshultz
Cloud Storage
I just bought an Ipad 4 16GB. I bought a Buffalo 2TB Linkstation 6 months ago from Newegg, dirt cheap. Apple wants $100/yr for 55GB of Icloud storage, plus $25/yr to share it. Hey, I have 1TB of music on the Linkstation.
I download this app. Hot Dog! So, now I am playing 1TB of music on this app. It shows the song being played, plays what you point to instantly, can shuffle, or repeat. No, it isn't Itunes. But...Dude!...it's free. I can go up to 3TB. I could play music continuously for the rest of my life.Show lessLover of all things Apple
Limited
The app seems to work, but as a previous reviewer pointed out, uploads are limited to photos and video content only, a pretty serious limitation for those who want to upload documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.Lokiintroundhiem
Needs work
Why would you only allow uploads of photos, movies and videos. I should also be allowed documents. I need it to work both ways. I don't always have my laptop with me. Needs Needs work before I can give it anymore stars.mrbacon18
Two major problems!
First issue is that the screen stays on, even after the playing movie ends. The reason is that the app does not close the video player after finishing the movie.
Second issue is that the app does not highlight a file while it is being selected, so after it played unless one has in his mind about the file that was just played, it would be hard two guess.
Also there is a limitation of formats which can be streamed.
