Do not update to iOS 10 if you rely on this app
The app has gotten sophisticated over several versions, however this version has multiple compatibility issues with iOS 10. You cannot change settings, download tracks, update firmware, nor pair more than 2 devices.Mitulica
Horrible HORRIBLE product
complete waste of money. useless and pointless. no third party apps will work with it OFFLINE even though they claim they will. so if u need to be online to use a map app (including THEIR OWN MAP APP and ULMON map app and Travel Wolf app) what's the point of this stupid dongle?
and THEIR maps are on for cities. Doesn't cover any of the areas BETWEEN cities. We bought this POS to navigate through Germany and Austria. Took forever to find satellites and lock on them. So instead we just fired up cell service and used google maps or waze or Apple maps.
Don't buy this - waste of $100. I cannot stress enough how frustrating this whole thing has been.Show lessBwana86

I see negative reviews but have entirely positive results. Got the Pro for Christmas. Downloaded the app but didn't execute it. Charged the device & connected. Then brought the app up. Everything worked just fine...entirely as advertised.MWinFW
app crashes on start
The device seems like it good be great but the iOS app crashes on launch, even after uninstalling/reinstalling. Without the iOS app, the device cannot be updated or administered and track logs cannot be downloaded.

Map views are worthless
Just upgraded to the new version. The maps in the Trips Detail view don't show anything except the route plot itself with no map overlay in the Standard or Satellite view. And the Offline view shows a quarter of the United States, and does not allow me to zoom in. All are worthless.

Great product, but App crashes on startup
This product is awesome, but I cannot use the App at all because it crashes 1 second after I try to open the App. I have iOS 8.4 with App version 3.1.1. Please work on a fix.chrislaynes
Unable to delete old trip from before app update
I have reached out to their support team and was instructed to unfair and repair (which I tired before contacting them) and it did nothing. They then told me this could be related to the update.
A new update to the app and firmware showed up the following day. After upgrading device and app, still the same problem.
Now I can not reach the support team.
This level of support is unacceptable.
Update: the latest version is continually crashing when going into saves tracks. Not compatible with iOS 9 as described.Show lessSkydiveguy
Update firmware does NOT work
I concur. I've tried updating firmware via iPhone running iOS 8.4.1 as well as iPad running iOS 8.1. Neither work (the update process just seems to stall indefinitely. The download step appears to work, but it stalls on the update step. If you press cancel (after giving it 20+ mins of trying), it says update complete, but still on old firmware version (2.0.48). Because of this, it appears NOT to be an Apple/iOS issue, but one with the bad elf device and/or app itself...Show lessmunkeepilot
Hot iPad
Not sure what different with this version . iPad gets very warm and you can almost hear the life getting sucked out of the battery .
Seem to related to this app.
