Here are some of the key features of our new backend payment system: - Easy Payment Process: With our new payment system, paying your direct bill renewal premiums is now a breeze. The process is simple and straightforward, and you can complete your payment in just a few clicks. - Multiple Payment Options: We understand that our users have different preferences when it comes to payment methods. That's why we have integrated a range of payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank accounts, to make it easier for you to pay for your renewal premiums.  - Note: If you have Auto-Pay, you must contact your Agent or 1-800-SHELTER to make changes. We're still working on adding this feature. - Automatic Payment Reminders: With our new payment system, you still receive automatic reminders when your renewal premiums are due. This means you will never miss a payment and your policy will always remain active. - Secure Transactions: Our new payment system is designed to provide our users with the highest level of security.   • Always a glitch

    The first time I paid my bill on the app was a breeze and I thought it was wonderful, but nearly every time I try to use it now, there’s some sort of glitch. This time, I cannot put our new credit card info in. It keeps freezing up. I even deleted and re downloaded the app, and I still can’t get it to work.

  • Super helpful app!

    This app is well designed, intuitive to use, and does what it is supposed to. It is great to have access to my policies on my phone and not have to worry about having updated paper versions with me!
  • Requires SSN

    I understand the need for an SSN regarding credit based insurance rates, but why keep the SSN after the credit check? I’m not looking forward to the potential identity theft if the SSNs are hacked from a Shelter database. There are other ways to verify an account without requiring an SSN.

    SSN is currently used to better associate Shelter policies to your account. We agree protection of personal information is a top priority & take preventive measures, such as redacting visibility. Further, we are actively exploring alternate methods of associating policies to ensure our customers’ needs are met & privacy is protected.
