Very useful and easy to use

I’ve used this for almost a year now, and found it to be very reliable and easy to setup and use. Good statistics, good reports, very well done.

Good but not perfect

Very good scoring app... But some issues for example on how to record a short run with batsmen crossed.

Also it would be handy to have a game template to use every time instead of having to setup a new game with customised parameters for each new game.

A print out / output using traditional scoring book display would be very handy as the game can then be transcribed into the teams official manual scorebook instead of having to do both together!

Best scoring app ever!

Best scoring app. ALTHOUGH, there are three things I would change:
1. For batting and bowling statistics for a whole tournament, could it not stop at the 50th player, could it go all the way to the last person.
2. Include the amount of catches taken by people in a tournament.
3. After every match, the app could choose a man of the match player based on a system of points for everything they do.

I use this app a lot and these suggestions would help me a lot. Please consider this nx cricket hd Thanks

great app

like others, i have found this app to be fantastic. there is a learning curve, especially with editing your mistakes, but stick with it. i have the ipad and iphone version and swap between them with bluetooth in breaks during matches if necessary for battery issues. once u get the hang of it you can score with your phone while umpiring, or score on device and in the book simultaneously quite easily. becoming very common to see this app used in club and rep games. there is some good advice in the reviews on this app - a discussion board on the maker's website would be good for sharing tips

Great concept but not consistent

Fantastic scoring app, so easy and simple to use in the middle while umpiring!! Would like an extra tab for some brief match notes!! I am having a few issues of late with creating an active match, once I have entered the teams competing and created the match, it fails to register it. It has now happened on numerous occasions! On the previous few occasions I have had to revert back to my score book which has been very annoying and time consuming! Any advise on how to rectify this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Very good - but with some annoying bugs

I use this to score the local under 11s cricket and deals with the Terrior style pairs cricket very well. It does however have some annoying bugs when editing post event particularly where a wicket is involved (minus 6 runs) - the app seems to get this wrong and scoring totals no longer add up correctly (as seems to deduct 12 runs instead). This is very annoying as it messes up the presentation of scores & there seems to be no way around it. Sort this out & definitely 5 star app.

Scoring/Stats Heaven

It is quite possible that no member of my cricket side (Faire Is The XI, check it out) will ever represent this green and pleasant land in an international. However, nxCricket-‘HD’ does an excellent job of bringing the stats side of the professional game to the amateur arena. Worms, Manhattans, Wagon-wheels…this wondrous scoring app provides comprehensive statistics for individuals, matches and entire seasons. The app takes a short time to get used to, but it definitely makes that Twenty20 in the rain, on a terrible pitch near Colliers Wood, that little bit more entertaining….

Great scorer app

I'm now into my second season using nxCricket, having graduated to using the iPad version this year, and have nothing but good things to say about it, it's just that easy to use, my only down side over pen and book, is ensuring I can be near a electric socket, so I don't have to run the iPad at 30% brightness to ensure there's enough charge to make it through our 90 over days!

But then try using any app for 6-7 hours straight, and not need to charge!

Very, very useful.

Just like real scoring, the app takes a bit of getting used to. But it's definitely worth investing the time. There could be a few more screen shots to show the functionality (I keep on finding new stuff that it can do!) but otherwise it leaves paper scoring for dust.

Fantastic app

I have just started using this app for junior cricket and it's fantastic. I have tried a few others and found their functionality for junior cricket poor.

It's very easy to use and very easy to fix mistakes which is the best part. The reports are great for analysing the game.

The only thing I could recommend to improve is the batting time. It does not pause for breaks. It also does not calculate the time for 2 sessions when a batsman has retired and come back in.

Other than that, I think it's great.
