Quality Scoring App

I have used this app for 2 years now and love it. At the completion of a game, one click (after initial set up) and all stats are emailed in your chosen format to players, league coordinators etc. This includes all the valuable numbers, wagon wheels and partnerships etc that help monitor performance but also, you can see patterns and where improvements can be made. I like this app for ease of use. Within 2 minutes I have shown another team member how to use while I head out and bat. I find it easier to use than CricHQ. Easy to undo or edit if you make a scoring error. The app runs very smooth I have not had a single freeze, crash or performance issue.

Improvements I would like to see in a future update is making the home screen easier to use. It's a little confusing for people who pick up the IPad and are trying to work out what to do. I would also like to see the ability to add logos to teams (like you can add pics for individual players). Also in the settings a note section for each game, where you can store info in the game. HQ has this.

Overall an awesome app. Tip...charge you IPad to full battery right before the game, turn the screen brightness down to halfway in the settings, mute and you will easily score a full days play. About 20% battery left. At lunch I often throw the IPad on charge as well to always have peace of mind and to Multi task on the IPad while scoring.

This suits all cricket. I have scored club, senior rep and junior cricket and you can set up easily to score all. Set up custom rules eg 2 runs a no ball etc Worth every cent and much better than the traditional scorebook.

Enjoy

Very good but issue

It's an excellent app for cricket scoring but there is an issue with viewing the finished score cards in the app. Please fix ! :)
5 stars for the fix

Overall very good app. I would like the ability to bring up wagon wheels for individual games rather than stats for the whole year. Also to look at everyone's wagon wheel during the game. I have players coming off asking to take a look and I'm unable to show them.

Also is there anyway to set a target score to chase? I didn't trust the opposition with my iPad and could not do our bowling as we were fielding.

Works well, needs a few improvements

Would like to see option for penalty runs. And more break down of stats after match finished. Also would like to see fielding stats (catches, run outs and dropped catches) on players stats. Overall, very good.
Continued updates are improving this app, but would like to see the all the options in the iPhone version (in the Limit, Score and Match Settings) put into the next iPad version.
Would also like to see an transfer of match scorecards and stats over the Cloud.

I really enjoy the increased functionality and have seen this app improve over the two season's I have used it.

Please change the reporting function so we can select what is included in it rather than including everything in every report.

It would be useful to be able to have a player reporting function where you can select what you want to include such as just
- batting wheel and
- batting scoring sector

And for the team
- batting wheel
- bowling wheel
- batting or bowling scoring sector

It would also be good to be able to indicate where a batsmen gives a chance for dismissal e.g. Dropped Catch.

Makes cricket scoring easy!

What an awesome app. Gone are the days of trying to remember where to put what on a score sheet and then trying to count up what runs a batsman has scored when they are nearing a milestone. This app does it all!
Well worth the $$ to buy. Makes those Saturdays scoring a pleasure.

Great cricket scoring app

Extremely detailed and accurate. Won't go to the game without it. The statistics generated are brilliant. Very highly recommended and worth all the money

Very nice app

I got this app after reviewing a few off the others. I choose this one because you can email the results at the conclusion of the match in PDF form. Some of the others this was not possible.

Has some excellent features - like batting / bowling wagon wheels.

Charge to 100% - drop the brightness to 50 and you can get through 100 overs for the day with some left over.

Feedback.
I would like an option to key in a target runs - and then get run rate required ect. This is a feature but needs the previous team to have battered first. - we only use the ipad to score our batting - haven't got the trust yet to let the opposition score when we are fielding.

As an extension of this - it would be good to be able to edit an entire score card - for example entering the opposition batting and our bowling figures without actually having scored this innings.
Then you play out the second innings and score as appropriate.

Overall I think this is fantastic app and posting the results of the games on our cricket teams Facebook page with this is a highlight at the end of every match.

Well worth a purchase.

Brilliant cricket scoring app

This is a fantastic app for scoring cricket. Very intuitive and easy to use. We have thrown away our paper scoring book. My kids love seeing their wagon wheels (if they get any runs!). Highly recommended.

A tip... turn your iPad to Airplane mode to give you more battery time to get to the end of the game.

Great app, but unstable

This is a great app, with updates improving its functionality. This version however closes itself whenever you try and make some edits, such as replacing the batsman's or bowler's name in a previous over, or email player statistics. The lack of an effective edit function that works every time can be a serious limitation.
