  • Awesome

Please add a first person view. to view our terrain please :)
  • Wow!

First off I'm surprised to see a 3d app with so many features. Although this is more in depth than just sculpting, I do believe after watching a couple tutorials this would be a great app to play around on and learn with due to its portability. This could also be a serious app to make actual objects with too! Well worth the money 👍❗

  • A 3D app that does not do 3D!

I am a professional 3D artist with a lot of experience in the industry. The only thing I can say about this app is that it needs to be redone from top to bottom. A 3D software does not suppose to be so hard to understand or figure out. This app is not user friendly at all. The creators try to put way too many options without paying attention to details that make a 3D software. I know it's a PHONE app, but please if you people are going to do something and charge $6 for it make sure u it works properly.

  • It's good but needs improving.

I've been using PC based 3D modeling software for about 7 years (Lightwave, Maya, Brice, Max) so I am used to these types of programs.

I think Finger 3D is probably the best iPhone - based modeling software but it's still a bit clunky. It's hard to get used to the selection process effectively. The selection globe can be extremely confusing at first.

Considering the iPhone limitations I will rate this 4 stars. Not 5 stars because it is really just a novelty app, because of the selection globe and the following:

I tried importing two simple ball .obj files- one from Lightwave, the other from Max. Both primitives cause Finger3D to crash. It seems the only objects this can use are the ones created within it.

It's because of those things that I'd never attempt doing any serious modeling here and I think $5.99 is over priced.

You expect a limited functionality- this is a cellphone after all but it's not quite ready for any practical purpose.

  • 3ds for DOS

I learned 3d modeling on 3d Studio 4 for DOS many years ago. Finger 3G reminds me a lot of that, it has a bit of a learning curve, but the program is a pretty powerful modeling app for anyone who understands 3G basics. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners.
  • Would be 5 stars

    Improvements needed:
Able to scale one aside at a time
    More room
Dont put that blue sphere in, it just makes things cramped,
