Leave a Review Yiddish Slang Dictionary and Quiz
Good for a novice
It’s not exactly comprehensive, but not bad for someone who just wants to acquaint themself with Yiddish.Yiddish Slang
Was sooo excited to download. Started quiz, answered question correctly, tried to “tap” to advance to the next word but will not let me. I have to close down app and re-open to get to the next word. When this is fixed, I will definitely give 5 stars. Fun to play with a group. What?
When you open the app at first it doesn’t say what to do. The dictionary doesn’t have any words. I am very confusedGreat app, maybe add in some more features?
Hey, I really enjoy the app, but do you think you could maybe add in how to pronounce the words, an example of them in use during a sentence, and maybe even add more words? Thanks, once again I love the app!Don't bother
A disappointment. Glad I only wasted $.99.The A-Z set up is brilliant
Simple, user friendly & not complicated. Love it. Simple A-Z interface makes it so easy to useA waste of 99 cents
This is a VERY small dictionary of perhaps 30 or so common Yiddish slang words commonly heard when growing up in a Jewish home. No new words to anyone. Very poor, some antiquated definitions. Not even an example used in a sentence. YOU ALREADY KNOW these words if you grew up in a Jewish home, nothing new here. Give the app to your goyim friends who don't know. For us, 99 cents down the drainShow lessCould be better
Lots of words should be added. Add useful words like Shiva. Don't need to define universal words like Bagel. Add pronunciations. Not all Jewish apps are created alike
Crashes when opening every time. Oye Vey!Rigged to Demand More Money
App keeps asking if I want to purchase, wants to charge to American Express Card. App will not function until/unless I agree to additional charge and provide AmEx number.
