Yiddish Slang Dictionary
I am reading that some Yiddish speakers are dissing the program.
But for me, whose Yiddish exposure ended with my grandma some 50 years ago, it has been great fun.

Very Disappointing
The app only features a few words, many of which the general public already knows. I can't believe I just paid a dollar to learn what a bagel is.

Fun but needs work
Lack of pronunciation is a major gap. Parts of speech is standard in a dictionary but missing here. Nice idea but needs work.
paltry
A half-assed app if there ever was one. The "dictionary" only has a handful of words, a pretty paltry offering indeed when you consider the richness and variation of Yiddish/Yiddish slang. Don't be a schlemiel like yours truly and fork over a buck for this app.

I wish this app had phonetic spelling or audio for each word. How can we learn the pronunciation otherwise?
