So much fun!
Can't believe how much code I remember from 35 years ago. A few minutes and a few lines to calculate prime numbers was great fun. I've bought the graphics update, but have only used it to run pre-loaded programmes. Excellent documentation is provided.Chris Hawkins
Good App!
This app is an excellent brain teaser. The only complaint I have is that files are a little hard to access because you have to enter quotation marks and use the correct case.Ghostrider+6

I payed for the graphics extension but when i do "SCREEN 1" it pops up for a second and then disappears!!! Other then this the app is great.Rome👣

This is a very faithful and reliable implementation of Microsoft BASIC as supplied with the C64. The integration with the iOS environment is thoughtful and discreet, and the graphics extension adds tactful, early-'80s-BASIC-style ways of using the iPhone or iPad display (reading the touchscreen by PEEKing at a memory address is a joy). Of course, there are features that C64 BASIC doesn't have: you'll find yourself writing a lot of GOTOs and GOSUBs... But BASIC in the 1980s introduced more people to programming than any other language before or since; and this app is a good ambassador for it, full of little helpful touches that show the developer has taken care to get things right.Show lessDescriptivist

Amazing app and Devs
This app is amazing. Not only is it a perfect port of C64 Basic on the go, but the developers are incredibly helpful as well. I had a few questions and sent about five emails over the course of 2 days and I ALWAYS received a helpful response within a couple of hours.
I love to use this, I am programming a help manual for my job, and a text adventure as well. I'm not familiar with the past of C64 and I don't know what Poke and Peek do, but I don't care, I don't seem to need them so it doesn't matter that they don't work. Also it kind of sounds perverted. Heh heh.

A Wonderful App
Having BASIC from the classic C64 on my iPad and iPhone is just marvellous! It's really well implemented and a lot of fun to use. This is how I started using computers 30 years ago, and I've always had a soft spot for this dialect of BASIC. Works great. Thanks, Ahmed!Jay Versluis
