  • Cool…

Commondore 64 on the go! And since i know basic so well, the apps even better. To write and compile Basic get the app Basic! From miSoft. This is still very cool!!!!!
  • Having wrote allot of C64

    I love it.

I agree with copy paste - great!
  • Interesting, if not that useful

Unlike the other reviewer suggests, this really is BASIC, which should be pretty obvious from the screenshots (Lua doesn't have line numbers). It's not a perfect copy of the original BASIC, but it mostly just adds language features, which is not bad at all. Overall, a fun toy.
  • Almost there, guys... Wrong language...

I know LUA, and "print("Hello World")" IS NOT BASIC! IT'S LUA!!
  • Awesome app

I really don't have anything to criticize. As I write this I'm surprised to see it hasn't bees reviewed yet.
This is a great little app for anyone feeling nostalgic for the good ol days when basic was king. I miss the days when it was easy to write simple programs on a PDA. If you already know BASIC, this can be a handy tool. If you don't know anything about programming, but want to learn, this app is a fine place to get started. Math majors take note: it's worth trying.

  • Don't upgrade

This is very disappointing; I have upgraded this app and found this removed the free graphics and now I have to buy it back again. NOT HAPPY
  • Not Bad, not bad.

Ah... How does one break out of a loop?!
  • Good at first

But quickly gets annoying. No copy/paste. Also have to constantly retype entire lines just to correct a typo. My son gave up on it just because of that.
  • In app purchase for graphics commands!!

Got this when it first came out, trusting that the developer would improve it and ultimately provide graphics commands.

It's a pity that clearly lacking functionality is being charged for.
    Very disappointing!
  • Memories are made of this.

Installed and wrote my first BASIC program in 28 years. Worked first time. Still got the chops.
